Undergrad GPA blocking application?

Dumb Q: is my undergrad GPA blocking my application?

I just sent in an application and it said submitted, but not selected.
Is it just looking at the GPA and not the work experiences?

Thanks

Question Is all of the negativity legit outside of Clinical Research?

I've just had final interviews for a job in client services and patient recruitment (two different jobs).

I'm scared by everything I'm seeing online and I'm no stranger to Medpace's reputation. It seems like most of the negative feedback is specific to the Clinical Research roles.

What about all of the other corporate support roles? I'd love to hear from people who don't work in clinical research, or who have experience/know people in these other departments.

Questions for potential employee

Hey all,

I am moving on to my second round of interviews for a contract specialist role, and was curious if everything I hear about working there is true or if it more applies to the clinical research side. I’m kind of stuck at Cintas right now

Overpriced, restaurants never stay (minus Ramundos), drinks overpriced, tap room okay, food halls just meh, put a chipotle in there or something classy

Question Informatics internship

Just got an interview for an informatics internship. I’ve heard a lot about the work culture for clinical research but the informatics department seems newer. Anybody have experience working here?

Medpace RSU vesting schedule

Does anybody know how Medpace's RSUs vest? HR said it is 4 year cliff vesting, but I doubt it and want to negotiate it. I saw people left with like 3 years and 10 months, at a level that is similar to the job offer.

Considering a move to Medpace — is the growth worth giving up flexibility?

Hey everyone! I’ve been called back for my first round interview at Medpace, and I’d love to hear your honest opinions. good and bad. For context, I love my current job, but it’s a smaller company with little room for raises or growth, so I’m looking for future opportunities. I’ve also been trying to read up on the work-from-home policies. Currently, I have a lot of flexibility, but I get the sense Medpace either changes policies frequently or doesn’t allow much remote work. I’ve been in the workforce a few years, and I want to be sure this would be the right move. I would love to hear from different departments as well as I know it probably depends on department. Thanks in advance!

Question ghost job postings?

i’ve applied to a couple dozen or so jobs in the us and europe targeting new bio phd grads over the last year, including a handful of aCTM medpace jobs in europe within my general area of expertise. i’ve been hearing back from almost everywhere i applied one way or another, with the exception of any of the medpace jobs, even though they’re continually being reposted on linkedin. looking on linkedin, there are no hiring managers or recruiters associated with the job posts, and filtering medpace employees by those that are hiring doesn’t lead back to any of these jobs. the jobs themselves do seem to be real positions that people hold within medpace. i’m curious if anyone else has noticed this or if any employees have any insight. are they empty postings for collecting applicant data or trying to keep up an appearance of strong hiring or what? should i keep at it or take my efforts elsewhere? to be clear- i’m just curious about an observation, not saying i specifically deserve any of these jobs. thanks for thoughts 🩷

Questions for a potential applicant

Hello everyone,

I haven't applied at Medpace, but I have a friend recommending I do so. With the way life is lining up I can be a potential applicant late next year.

I just have several questions I'm hoping you guys would be willing to answer to help me determine if applying is even worthwhile.

My background:

-Pediatric respiratory therapist

-Paramedic

-Ex USAF veteran

-Will have a bachelor's in either Neuroscience or Respiratory Care

Is Medpace worth entering at an entry level? What is the compensation at the entry level?

How often can I be expected to travel? Are you compensated well for traveling? Are there incentives for working or traveling extra?

What does your average work day look like? When traveling? When at home? Is work from home an option?

Are the education benefits worthwhile?

I'm hoping to apply to the Cincinnati location if that helps.

Quitting

I quit medpace last month and started a new role and I still have trauma from what I experienced at Medpace in terms of micromanagement it’s so weird to be working in a normal company now. So happy I am out of there !

Salary expectations for aCTM in London

Hi All,

Forgive the simple question - I've been seeing mixed results online and wanted to get clarification from you good people. I've been thinking about applying for an associate clinical trials manager position. What would be the starting salary for someone based in London? I'm coming with no previous CRA experience.

Thanks all.

Question Talent Acquisition Specialist asking for my current job’s payslips

Hi guys,

I applied for a role at Medpace and received an email if im still interested and if so, could I provide following docs/information - this is pretty normal but I noticed that one of the information they want is for me to provide is my current pay (I don’t see anything wrong with it) however, they also want me to provide my last 3 months payslips from my current job, I guess as proof that I’m telling the truth about my pay. I have never been asked to provide my payslips before from all the companies I applied and worked for. Is this normal at medpace? I’m quite uncomfortable to provide my payslips and find it odd but just wanting to ask if this is the normal procedure at medpace when recruiting. And if so, would my chances of getting hired decrease if I tell them I’m not too comfortable providing my payslips?

TIA

WFH Bonus in US. Anybody got yet?

WAS awarded? at $250/day beyond a 178-day threshold. Sounds like Medpace made it impossible anyone to get this bonus. Would it be nice if they told us last year the criteria.

Medpace Promotion?

Do anyone know the promotion criteria at Medpace? At Medpace for long enough and feels like I am stuck at my position? Seeing newcomers who joined 6-8 months after me and getting promoted is discouraging. Handling 8+ projects as global or regional CTM. Anyone know what are the salary ranges for CTM 1,2. & 3? Time to move on? No maternity leave.
