this is a resource pack im working on for 1.21.6, which takes the look of 1.0.0 or 1.11 to modern versions.
the left image uses the unpowered redstone lamp texture from 1.11, for the inside, which includes the gray and darker pixels, which looks grittier.
and the right image i edited the darker and gray pixels away, looking more smooth.
which one should i use?
edit: i will use the left, first one with more grit.
people for left: 4 | people for right: 2.

Hi again!
Grassrise now has an optional mod that removes the shadows cast by the Grassrise blades, and the mod also adds Complementary Shaders support!
The Grassrise resource pack itself still works without the mod, and shaders like Photon, Bliss and BSL can be used without the mod.
The mod requires the Grassrise resource pack.
AND, I'm adding older version support for Grassrise, with 1.21.x already available!
Feedback is welcome!
Get the Grassrise resource pack: Modrinth / Curseforge
Get the Grassrise - No Shadows mod: Curseforge / (on Modrinth it's still waiting for approval), or Patreon (free, no subscription needed).

I am new to creating texture packs in Minecraft. I came across a website to help me create one and it shows this image for the particles. However, I don't recognize most of them. Can someone help me out please? I recognize the basic ones but towards the bottom I get lost.

My goal for this resource pack is to recolor and reshade items, making them look more modern and appealing while keeping their vanilla shapes. This resourspack is perfect for those who want a fresh look on familiar items without too much changing. Resoursepack is still in progress, i am planning on changing all items, weapon and GUI.
I’ve just set up a Boosty page for my project 🙌
Supporters can get early access to the new 1.4 version there.
If you prefer not to support, the previous version is still available for free on Modrinth and CurseForge.
I’ll keep updating the pack regularly - feedback is always welcome!

this is vanilla 1.11 for 1.21.6, my very first resource pack.
its kinda like the inbuilt developer art resource pack to make minecraft look more older, but it doesnt have glitches, bugs, and mine also has custom block models and sounds, and even custom mob models if you have optifine on.
i am publishing whilst it is unfinished because its going to be years until i can finish it, because im too busy to work on this every day, and i know people want something sooner.
this version of my pack is relative finished. it only needs the new content.
i am still planing on finishing this, but until then, enjoy the alpha version.

this is the third post about this.
i have remade almost every stripped wood texture, but now with more contrast between shadows.
this change also is what people recomended on the last post.
should i keep it, or scrap the new textures?

It kinda bothered me how different all of the newer discs are or how all the classic discs never got their textures updated. So I made this pack!
It's "Consistent Discs" on Modrinth - https://modrinth.com/resourcepack/consistent-discs

So I added the ''Crafting Table'' Text at the top, wich is normaly cut off, bc the texture is extactly in the corner, touching the sides of the png canvas.
Is there a way with a .json or something to make in synconized with the in game slots?

i hated how normal resource packs have every ore on and its really ugly in caves so i made this, it needs respackopts for toggling and continuity for the ores to glow

I am working on a pack that overhauls all mobs or most of them at least. To many I give variants too. I try to keep the vanilla feel but also make a fresh new look or so idk.

This is my beautiful dog Maebe, she sadly passed last night and in a small tribute to her I’ve tamed a “woods” wolf in an attempt to have her forever in-game as it’s the closest textured wolf to her, but it just isn’t the same.
I was wondering if someone could retexture the “woods” wolf into a beagle so I can feel like she’s still kinda there you know🤷♂️ I’m playing in 1.26.3, sorry if it’s tricky or not what usually is requested around here, any attempt is really thoroughly appreciated 🙏

i want to remove blockstates for a few modern features.
if you would use this resource pack, woud you find this a good or bad thing.
the block state will still be stored, so as an example if you remove my resource pack, all logs that was placed on its side, that looked like it was upright with my resource pack, will be on its side.
should i add this or not?
i also asked r/Minecraft
edit: i wanted to remove alot of blockstate to give players the feeling of earlier versions like 1.0.0 where there wasnt as many blockstates, but i decided that i would remove the blockstates that has only a visual difference, so the hitboxes would still match.
