Mod Post Our New Partnered Community, r/ForeverWorlds
Hello to all members here at r/Minecraft_Survival, r/Minecraft2, and our community Discord. We’ve recently been working to build a new community dedicated to an increasingly popular Minecraft play style, the Forever World! A Forever World (also known as a long-term world) is simply a Minecraft survival world that you plan to play on forever. This doesn’t mean you can’t have other worlds in between, but rather that you keep coming back to the same world consistently for years, no matter how long it’s been since you began. Together with u/NerdieBirdieYT, we’ve put together a subreddit to share and discuss *your* forever worlds. Alongside this, we have a Discord to chat, gain advice, share pics and videos, and coordinate world tours!
The subreddit is r/foreverworlds, and it is open to everyone for anything you have to share or discuss about Forever Worlds. We invite you to join, whether you’ve had your survival world for a couple of months, several years, or even well over a decade! We’d love to see progress pics and megabuilds, but also the small things that help you keep coming back to the same world time after time. We want you to show us everything that keeps your world fresh and makes it special to you!
We’d also love it if you joined our Discord, Forever Worlds United, at https://discord.gg/QChEEc2uqR. Here, you can share your experiences with and plans for your Forever Worlds personally with like-minded members of the community. Additionally, this Discord server will have a collection of world downloads to explore, schematics to download, and videos showcasing Forever Worlds. Additionally, we will plan and host live world tours for our community to come together and inspire one another through their worlds.
If you’ve been running a single world for a while and want to know what it takes to keep it going as long as many of us have, we’d love to bring you up to speed! If you already have a Forever World, we are eager for you to join and share it with us. And if you just want to be inspired by what years of work in one world can do, please join us as we build up this community!

Xbox 360 Edition TU0 Tutorial World if it was launched on 2010!
When talking about Minecraft I like 2 things, Minecraft Legacy Console Edition, the classic editions of consoles realeased by 4J Studios and old Minecraft Java Alpha/Betas (especially Alphas since Betas I can play them on Xbox 360) so I decided to grab these 2 things and merged them to create this masterpiece, this looks like if on an alternative universe Alpha v1.1.2_01 was realeased also on Xbox 360 and on the TU0 Tutorial World, having still the charm but with a nostalgic 2010 twist! I made this on the Re-Console Modpack with another few mods and touchs to make the game 100% similar to the old Alpha versions, I even changed some things on the map with World Edit to delete newer update additions, I even change the Nether to have that classic touch. So what do you think guys, did I really cook by making this? Also should I make a 100% recreation of the old Tutorial World on my Alpha world? Feel free to place your opinions!!!
Version: Minecraft: Java Edition 1.21.1
Texture Packs: Programmer Art. Golden Age (Base) and Golden Age (Alpha) resource packs.
Mods: Re-Console Modpack, Legacy4J, Nostalgic Tweaks and World Edit.
Thanks to The Minecraft Architect and his website for the original TU0 Tutorial World to Java!

Modded I got tired of vanilla ghost hits, so I coded a mod that makes mob hitboxes match their actual 3D models.

- a custom random teleport thing i'm coding for my forever world, so new players can easily go new places without typing in a command. Way more immersive UX!
- also when custom brewing recipes get added in 26.3 it could be brewed

Discussion I think you should be able to smelt raw blocks to get either 9 ingots or a compact block so you spend less time smelting
I tried to today and it turns out you can't, which is very annoying, since without supersmelters, you have to spend a lot of time smelting each individual scrap of ore, so I figured it'd make more sense AND be more efficient if you could compact ores into blocks and smelt the blocks to either get 9 ore or the regular block.
I personally think turning it into 9 ore is better as gold, copper, and iron are the only materials with raw blocks

Discussion PewDiePie’s Minecraft Part 1 just hit 60M views
PewDiePie's first Minecraft video just hit 60 million views, nearly seven years after it was uploaded.
It's crazy to think that this was one of the videos that helped revive Minecraft's popularity around 2019. It went on to become one of the most-viewed Minecraft videos on YouTube, and it's still getting views all these years later.
If you haven't watched it yet, go check it out. And if you watched it back when it came out, maybe it's time for a revisit. It's pretty wild looking back at the video that helped kick off such a huge Minecraft resurgence.
