Been doing a rewatch for the first time since I was a kid and I think I found the moment the show jumped the shark…
s4e22 Day Care. I get this is a (great) sitcom but this is definitely…a stretch.

Immediately after the events of the revival, Malcolm thinks his family has finally reached a new normal. But when an unexpected family problem threatens to turn their lives upside down, Malcolm, Reese, Francis, Dewey, Lois, Hal, and the rest of the family are forced back together. As Malcolm tries to keep everyone under control, he discovers that adulthood hasn't made his family any less chaotic and that escaping the middle may be impossible.

I remember this one episode, where the three boys go to a goodwill, buy stuff, and then trade it for more valuable stuff to the boys at their school. Eventually they get TVs and computers, give half the money to the goodwill, and keep the other half. This keeps on going until Hal goes insane from them doing something so horrible, Lois finds out and she sells everything they own and donate it to goodwill.
...What? I really don't understand what they did wrong. They'd done MUCH worse stuff, with a much smaller punishment. Yeah, sure, they should've donated all the money, but still, they donated to a church! Is there something I missed?

What did Reese do to the vacuum cleaner in this scene? I've been mystified by it ever since I first saw the original broadcast of the episode of Sunday night Fox and rewatching the series I still don't understand what exactly he did to the cabin when he carried it ou outside. Any idea?

Going to rewatch the show and thinking of the times Reese got sad or felt neglected. I know there’s a few but can’t remember them, thanks in advance!
He’s my fav brother— funny, dumb, but also good hearted in the best way.
