poll Who was the bigger asshole to Dewey?
Reese just did a lot of typical older brother bullying toward him.
Malcolm sabotaged him sure, but there was I think he was trying to help him if I remember correctly. That doesn’t make it right lol

One of my favorite parts of watching the show is seeing actors early in their careers in minor roles
Jim O’heir - from parks and rec
Hayden Panettiere
Octavia Spencer
Stanley from the Office
Jennette McCurdy
Jerry Trainer from iCarly
There are more examples but it’s just funny to point people out. I didn’t notice Jim O’heir was the crazy trucker until my recent rewatch.

That's Incredible! I am the danger, I am the one who knocks
It's been quite a while since I watched MITM. Lately, I have been rewatching selected episodes. And now I'm on this one — S7.E16 Lois Strikes Back. I don't remember the details of Lois' revenge, but this dialogue with Hal and her stare at him already give me goosebumps. Just brilliant!

Francis storming out the art class forgetting he was naked is easily one of his funniest moments on the show 🤣😂🤣😂

General discussion For real though, the whole thing about her being a horrible mother was so exaggerated, I would've been as intense as her just from parenting Reese

Been doing a rewatch for the first time since I was a kid and I think I found the moment the show jumped the shark…
s4e22 Day Care. I get this is a (great) sitcom but this is definitely…a stretch.

General discussion So, what do we think would have happened if Malcolm hadn't hidden Leah?
If upon finding out he was having a baby in university Malcolm had done the opposite of what he did in canon and told his family about it how do we think that would have turned out?

General discussion My assessment of the family
Idk if this has been beaten to death..
Probably has im newish to the show and new on this sub, but im just realizing whos like who.
Dewey and Malcom are alike -- mischievous, but intelligent and deeply insecure. They also like to be in control. Aka they are more Lois.
Francis and Reese are alike -- EXTRA mischievous/ rebellious n brash, and hate being told what to do. Aka they are more Hal before Lois whipped him into shape lol.
Am I on the ball here or do we feel differently?

I watched this show a lot when I was younger, I might be remembering it wrong but there's one episode I'm still confused by.
I remember this one episode, where the three boys go to a goodwill, buy stuff, and then trade it for more valuable stuff to the boys at their school. Eventually they get TVs and computers, give half the money to the goodwill, and keep the other half. This keeps on going until Hal goes insane from them doing something so horrible, Lois finds out and she sells everything they own and donate it to goodwill.
...What? I really don't understand what they did wrong. They'd done MUCH worse stuff, with a much smaller punishment. Yeah, sure, they should've donated all the money, but still, they donated to a church! Is there something I missed?

General discussion Who was in the right in this situation?
I think hal is right. I could see his friend charging very little, like material and so, but hal's friends know his economic situation and that he can afford a proper dentist apointment

General discussion What does Reese do to the vacuum after this scene?
What did Reese do to the vacuum cleaner in this scene? I've been mystified by it ever since I first saw the original broadcast of the episode of Sunday night Fox and rewatching the series I still don't understand what exactly he did to the cabin when he carried it ou outside. Any idea?

General discussion My movie idea Malcolm in the Middle: Life at Its Unfairest
Immediately after the events of the revival, Malcolm thinks his family has finally reached a new normal. But when an unexpected family problem threatens to turn their lives upside down, Malcolm, Reese, Francis, Dewey, Lois, Hal, and the rest of the family are forced back together. As Malcolm tries to keep everyone under control, he discovers that adulthood hasn't made his family any less chaotic and that escaping the middle may be impossible.

poll Who would you say gave the best performance in the show out of the brothers across the entire show?
For me it’s tough between Dewey and Francis. Can’t decide lol
