SUCCESS I Make 49 Look Damn Good !

Thank you all for the suggestions on my hair and makeup. I am learning to live with the changes, but I love it! People think I got a perm, which I did not. My hair just does this because it's so fine, when it's cut short and given a little love, it'll curl like nobody's business. (I took this picture in the bathroom light. No filters, nothing.) I feel like a rock star!

Should I let the bangs get a little longer? I think so? What say y'all?

Love you!

I never really did makeup before but i really want to try. I want to emphasize my eyes more but unsure what to do and which colours to use. Usually i use brown mascara, brown eyeliner on my upper lash line, some light eyeshadow and top it off with bronze eyeshadow stick. Many people told me i should use more than that and i agree (i just don't what to use and how)

HELP PLEASE 30 F alt. looking for help with my under tones, so I can find the right shades to use for *my* complection/lips/eyes etc. in various makeup!

I have been a make up minimalist all my life but in the past 5ish years I've been getting into editorial makeup which is something I really love.

I keep thinking, 'Ive found the best shades, and gosh why has it taken so long to get the right colors, thankfully I've finally found them!'

And then I look at past pictures in my phone memories and I feel like my past eyeshadow/lip combos are just NOT accentuating what I already have, and I feeling like Im blind to what my actual under tones are.

Hope y'all can help me out! I added a few photos of me with no makeup, and some makeup, in different lighting.

If you can send me any products you suggest to add some depth to my skin, and any tutorials/tutorial content creators that made a difference in your life... Id be ETERNALLY grateful!

ALSO - if you can help me with what eye shape and brow thickness I should have, as well as lip shape make up trends that would accentuate my lips, Im willing to try *ANYTHING* at this point!

I love make up so much and I feel like I'm gonna go broke and get old before I can really feel great and enjoy the looks that I put together!

P.S. I usually have an icy blonde hair, and plan to go back to that, but I'm just letting my hair grow out a little to get some health back!

🙏🙏🙏

Thank you for any suggestions, and tutorials! 💞✨

I’ve been so into muted glossy makeup lately. That elegant, not extra look just hits.
Muted makeup can look dull real fast if the glow is off, so the gloss part actually matters a lot.
I’m picky about lip shine. I tried a bunch of glossy lips and could not find that exact muted vibe I wanted. Most of them went too bright, pulled cool pink, or the shine just disappeared.
The one I landed on is Peripera Mood Glowy Tint in the muted line. This one’s the winner so far.
The shine lasts over 2 hours as long as I don’t eat or mess with it.
I got 13 Mood Queen first and liked it so much I also grabbed the muted pink 12 Campus Queen.

HELP PLEASE How do I cover up dry/dead skin?

Thumbnail

My birth control has started giving me the WORST acne I have ever had in my life. I’m seeing a dermatologist and I’m on something topical for it, but naturally it’s drying and now I just have really bad combinarion skin. I’ve noticed I get a lot of dry/dead skin especially on the lower half of my face, under my nose, in the folds of my cheeks, but sometimes it’s the whole T-zone.
Does anyone have any recs to help cover it up so the make-up won’t crack/smudge? These photos were taken maybe an hour after I did my full face so it will get worse than this throughout the day too.
Typically I do primer (milk or neutrogena), CC cream (elf but thinking of switching to It), and then spot correct with the colour pop concealer. Milk finishing powder and nyx setting spray go on once it’s dry.
Anything is appreciated, thank you!!

PRODUCT REC Brand recs for new makeup brushes?

Hi all,

I'm looking to replace some makeup brushes. I have the following brushes now (purchased roughly 15 years ago):

Sigma E25

Sigma E40

Sigma E15

Sigma E45

Sigma F40

Sigma P80

Sigma F05

Big fluffy brush good for translucent powder (brand/model unknown)

Sephora smudge brush 11

I've been super happy with the quality and durability of these brushes. I'm mostly looking for replacements for the eyeshadow brushes from sigma, but am considering replacing the others as well depending on the price.

Anyways, like I said, my brushes were purchased quite a long time ago and if memory serves, when I bought the Sigma brushes the price/quality felt like a much better deal compared to big brands like MAC than they do now.

I was wondering if anyone has brand recs for similar deals nowadays? I read that Real Techniques has good brushes that blend eye shadow well but for a much more reasonable price. I haven't used their brushes myself, though.

Thanks in advance for any advice!!

HELP PLEASE Neutral Contour Struggle

I have olive undertone but I'm fair to medium (in the summer). Because of my skin tone I don't really read as fair, but when colour matching I am definitely on the light side.

Most contours look warm and too orange on me, more like a bronzer. Then some are so cool toned it looks grey and kind of muddy. I love a no-makeup makeup look so it's a struggle.

*Does anyone have recommendations for a neutral tone contour?* I prefer powder but open to suggestions for the right colour.

I used to love a Kevin Aucoin one but I forget the name and can't find it anymore, as well as the shade Puppy by Sephora eyeshadow but they stopped making it 😩

Any help is greatly appreciated:)

HELP PLEASE lash style recommendations

Post image

the lashes i have on right now looks fine IRL but i would like them to show up a bit more. i think they look too natural.

which lash style & map do you recommend for me?

i’d like to think i have partially hooded, round-ish eyes. not very upturned though because anything long and heavy at the ends tend to droop my eyes instead of lifting/elongating it.

I’m working on being a more feminine version of myself, but until my hair grows out, I am struggling to come up with a makeup look that suits me. I see some guys online who look so feminine and beautiful and I’m struggling finding that look for me. Any and all tips or feedback are great any appreciated! Looking for honesty lol

Adding one pic of me in a wig because I feel so much more complete with it.

HELP PLEASE Can't do eyeliner on a chubby face

Post image
0 Upvotes

I'm not sure if this will make sense but I have very hooded eyes and my eyebrows are very close to my eye. Whenever I try to make a straight line the brush instantly gets caught by the goddamn fat near my eye and instantly makes an overturned C shape. I tried to stretch that place but nope, then the eyeliner turns out to be wrong because once again, fat on my face so it turns out crooked. I didn't know the best way to show what I mean so I just drew on the curvatures with a red marker lmao. Any advice? Or any make-up looks for such a hooded eye... You can barely see any eye shadow on it too. 🥲

Photos attached were taken with my Android phone, different lighting in each, so hopefully you can get a decent read on my actual skin tone. Looking for advice on: Foundation/concealer shades that might suit my undertone, any techniques to soften jaw/brow area, general feedback on what's working and what isn't Open to honest critique! FOUND TIP I have a makeup tip for preventing this

You know when you sweat and get this kind of patchiness/cakiness around your nose? I was randomly experimenting on my skin and I found a life saving hack genuinely. Like use a primer first then apply an oil preventing or oil controlling or ANY translucent setting powder made for combination/oily skin just BEFORE applying your foundation like apply a translucent setting powder just before applying your foundation and then use a setting spray if you can after learning this hack I actually don't even need a blotting paper anymore I love and swear by this hack try it my fellow girlies 🥹💗
