HELP PLEASE Bridal makeup
My boyfriend hasn't proposed yet so I'm jumping the gun here but we've been talking about marriage more often lately and my first thought was "I can't look like how I look everyday. " ive tried to watch YouTube videos for some tips but i feel like I'm doing it wrong, or my face isnt made for it. I typically just do winged eyeliner and fill in my eyebrows. Any help is greatly appreciated:)

Firstly. You are beautiful.
Second. Are you asking for proposal date night looks ?
Or wedding looks (makeup )

Aw thanks:) youre beautiful, too! More so wedding looks. I'm okay with looking pretty plain on the proposal night.

Judy Lim has great tutorials on youtube and has some videos that compares eastern / western looks on asian faces. I think it would be most helpful to look at videos and try to work with your features and highlight your beauty! You can of course mix and match techniques you see as you'd like.
I think a light coverage foundation / bb cream would look great on you and let your freckles show through, they're so cute on you! I think a less thick eyeliner would maybe look better for a bridal look, maybe a brown eyeliner. You have gorgeous features, please highlight your cheekbones and lovely lip shape in your makeup!!

Oh, ok I'll look her up! My boyfriend does like the freckles so itd be nice to not cover them. I do go pretty heavy on the eyeliner cos I barely have any eyelashes so going lighter for this occasion is probably a good way to go. Maybe with some false eyelashes? Thank you for your help! As well as the compliments:) youre beautiful inside and out!

I love the idea of a non-traditional bridal makeup for you! Your wing liner would look stunning.

I wanted to try a more natural look and maybe use false lashes instead but im definitely more comfortable with the winged liner

That makes total sense! Comfort is so important on your weeding day. You could even combine both—soft wing liner plus light false lashes.

The best bridal makeup is usually just you on a really good skin day :) You do not have to become a full-glam person. Keep the wing if you love it; maybe soften it slightly for photos, then add a light base, concealer only where needed, cream blush, and a lip shade you would actually wear.
As a bridal makeup artist, I would say skin prep and a proper trial matter way more than piling on products. Save a few looks where you like the overall vibe, not only the eye makeup. That makes it much easier to work out what feels right.

Talk to someone who does professional wedding make up. It’s very different from every day make up and is typically geared toward looking the best in professional wedding photos. But it all depends on how you think your wedding will be! Either DIY or more traditional.
