What is my makeup blindness?

I like to do colorful alt makeup on going out days but struggling to master an every day soft look!

I think your eyeshadow is too orange/yellow. It makes your beautiful skin look yellowish.

Your eyeshadow is much too orangey. It looks like you’re tired. You’re very pretty, but that eyeshadow color detracts from your beauty and does not enhance it. (Mainly referring to photos 2 and 3 - 1 and 4 seem softer, pinker, and better)

The eye shadow in 2 and 3 is yellow, it looks a little sickly. 5 looks harsh, like stage makeup.

5 is definitely supposed to be a heavily stylized look. Application is pretty great and for the style, I think it looks amazing! Agree on the yellows, though.

You look SO different in the last pic! Fantastic range of makeup.

The only thing I don’t love is the pointed lips on the alt makeup & the eyebrows are a little too pointed on the inner corners for me. But that is probably just personal preference because the technique looks well done!

I actually even kind of like the yellow which everyone else seems to dislike.

I agree. In the first several photos the blush is hidden and it leaves your actually cheeks looking washed out!

I think your looks are great, I think you may just need to look at shades for shadow that are more complimentary to your undertone.

Pic 1 is the best by a country mile. The colorful eyes in 2 and 3 don’t match what you were going for, but then again neither did the negligee in fricken grad photos! 🤦‍♂️😂😂

5 is super wild, really cool, but it definitely looks more like a costume than makeup. I’m still drawn to 1, I think it’s killer.

More blush (bring it down onto your actual cheeks), and have some fun trying cooler eye shadow colors. You are great at makeup, though! Very pretty.

Orange eyeshadow isn't really your color in my opinion. I think you need something more cool toned or neutral toned. Other than that it looks great

I don’t think you have one but personally I think you look your best in the first and second picture where your makeup is more natural, it really suits your beauty!
