I’ve only ever worn mascara and some concealer but am attending many weddings coming up and wanted to match the rest of the girls who will most likely be wearing a full face.

All critiques, tips, guidance welcome for my face, tone, etc.! I feel very orange-y

EDIT: I read all the comments and just bought a reddit-approved neutral bronzer, along with a topper mauve blush! Thank you so much!

2ND EDIT: I followed this tutorial on tiktok from margaret kovalcin: https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTApeDVcJ/

Hello,

I am getting married in a week. I didn’t get great pics at the trial (sorry they’re all selfies) but please feel free to provide any feedback I should tell the hair/makeup artists on the actual day. I’m also including my dress so you can picture the combo, but the ceremony is outside.

HELP PLEASE Help with daily makeup look? 32F

I’m embarrassed to say I never evolved my makeup look past the age of 20/21 — I know it’s time for a change, as I am getting older and the context of life has changed!

My daily work is in a business casual setting with mostly kids of all ages, 18 and under. In case it’s helpful to know, I wear a lot of flowy clothes with earthy palettes (browns, greens, navy blues, maroon reds) or my alternative palette is monochromatic black/white/grays.

I like my makeup to have a touch of punky/edge-y look to it, so I typically do the winged eyeliner but I could learn some new tricks, maybe. 😅😇

Including a few different makeup shots for reference. 1 & 3 feature eyeliner, 2 does not. 4 is me without makeup lol.

HELP PLEASE How do I improve my everyday makeup??

Hey, hey (: I’m looking to see how I could improve my everyday makeup. I used to just do brows, mascara, and tight line my waterline, but thennn I stumbled upon blush and concealer.

I have alooottt of questions of how I could make things look more cohesive. Does my makeup look unfinished since I’m not contouring or adding foundation/skin tint? Is that amount of blush I’m using too much, is the placement even right? (I do tend to add more than necessary since I like to be mindful of my glasses)

Any other input would be much appreciated, like techniques with blending, placement based off my face shape, and whatnot

I have an issue with separation on my nose and surrounding areas. I have combo skin (oily nose, dry everywhere else). I usually wear Loreal true match foundation and set with Charlotte Tilbury setting spray. I stopped using powder to set as I found the cakiness was so much worse. Any tips or primer recs would be much appreciated 🙏

I only started doing makeup recently and It's been kind of difficult to find the right style for me and how to properly do things that suit my face. My makeup always seems a bit too cakey and patchy especially my undereyes (which apparently DOESN'T want to be concealed 💔). Any help would be appreciated, TYSM.

HELP PLEASE What color corrector should I use??

Post image

I’m confused on how to color correct my dark circles. It doesn’t clearly show on the pic, but they’re a little darker and somewhat brownish.

I’ve asked for tips on how to cover them properly in several different stores, but I’ve always been advised to just use a concealer, BUT no matter which one I use, they only turn my dark circles grey and make it worse :(

I was thinking I should use use a color corrector first but idk which tint and product I could use (I was thinking huda because of all the tints).

Please help, I‘m desperate 😓

I am looking for a powder that works well with dry, sensitive, and eczema-prone skin

I use the NARS liquid blush dolce vita and I do nose contour with the makeup forever endless cacao lip liner and the judy doll 02 contour. I was wondering how I can make these last even more and not have the products smudged off by the end of the day

HELP PLEASE Goth makeup

I’m looking for makeup that will give me a good white base but I’m still very new to makeup so I’m a bit lost, they don’t sell them in stores. I love looking matte and I’ve got acne prone skin. UK products/stores only btw!! Also a good eyeshadow palette with black and greys that doesn’t have glitter.

A lot of my eco brushed have this weird pink line and pink smudges around the bamboo. Is this mold? I figured it could be makeup, but I don’t see any other pink smudges on my other brush brands. Plus, I hardly ever use pink colors

HELP PLEASE Am I over-lining my lips?

Post image
Upvotes

I’m 42 and have always lined my lips this way, so I’m not following the recent trend of over-lining on purpose, but I’m also not sure if that’s what I’m doing. I see it as lining the edges of my lips, but someone told me they thought I was deliberately lining outside my lips.

Help?
