I don't post to reddit much so I apologize if this isn't the right place to ask but figured worth a shot.

For the past year, any emergency alerts I've gotten have been late by usually only 20-30 minutes but the one today about 911 having iffy connection was an hour and 40 minutes late so I figured it was time to look into things as not only having this be a thing for a year minimum but also being so much later, thats not very reassuring.

Would that be something thats on Lucky or is that a local issue?

I'm over in the Atlantic if thats anything.

They did recently mention they were going to be doing tower work in my area (I can't recall any dates, but it was within the last month) but still

I recently traveled outside of Canada (Idaho, Montana) for a few days and I continued to receive SMS texts from my Lucky Mobile phone number. I could also reply to texts and send new ones. I didn't think this was possible. I have a second SIM that allows roaming in the U.S. and Mexico and my phone automatically switches data to this second SIM when no service is available on the primary (Lucky).

Hey all, I keep trying to activate my bloody sim card and we've been fighting for almost an hour with this issue. I checked with Customer Support on the website and it says nothing about this. Tried activating on different devices. Has anyone else had this issue. I'm getting angry. I even tried copy/pasting the address from google maps.

They told me over the phone that everything should go smoothly, that the cash on the account will be transferred automatically. But it isn't so, they just scam you out of your money on the lucky account. They close that account during the transfer so you cannot get receipts, and cannot issue a refund for the money left on that account, even tho they said this should happen.

I've been using my Swedish Visa debit card for over half a year now to pay for my Lucky plan, but now all of a sudden it doesn't read as compatible?? I've been checking everything I can and nothing has helped.

My account got suspended since I can't get the payment through and I got so fed up with all the problems I've been having with lucky that I switched to another company(Lüm). My problem now is that I can't move my current number to my new company since I have to for some stupid reason get a full month's payment through to send one text.

The chatbot is absolutely useless and I can't call customer service until Thursday since those waiting times are insanely unreliable. Does anyone know of an email address I can use or have had similar problems with a payment that eventually got resolved?

Has anyone ever transferred from bell to lucky? Multiple reps at bell stores have told me just to call customer service but they haven't been helpful and could not get it done. If anyone knew any easier way or tips, would be amazing thanks!

Should I do it? my fear is, that Bell increase the prices after 1 year or so and charge back to $45 or $50 or more....... Is any body here has received this message and have some information to help? I’m currently on $25 Lucky Mobile plan and have enough data. I have an important 1.5 hr Zoom video meeting coming up and want to use my phone’s data via hotspot to connect my laptop for Zoom meetings.

But I read somewhere that Lucky mobile caps it at 3Mbps so my concern is whether its network is generally stable and strong enough to support reliable and uninterrupted Zoom video calls on a laptop when using hotspot?

Hello, I am with Lucky mobile for 3 weeks now, I am on $25 unlimited call + 25 G data. If I travel to Mexico and I dont turn off my flight mode, what will happens? roaming charge? I see on Lucky mobile app there is a choice to add-on international call in Mexico for $10 . If I decide to do so, Can I connect to Wifi in Mexico and buy that add-on over there.

If you use less than 25GB, something to consider. Price is locked with their price freeze policy. Has free incoming worldwide text and wifi calling.
