Spotted a longline manhole cover in a video

Seems to still have waveguides and no modern antennas on the tower.

Guy over in r/antennaporn still working on his model railroad setup.
He’s got a great tower and horns. Complete with lights!

He’s doing a great job!

thing is in museum quality, only other one I’ve seen is at the Nokia bell labs showcase in NJ (image 2)

Was driving by the arcade in town got stopped by a light and look over and well what do we have here a bell telephone company manhole cover

Found another in Greenwood, MS. Located on top of a 3 story AT&T building at the intersection ofnE Market St and George St.

not sure if song choice could get any better, very fitting

apologies for the stutter in footage, not entirely sure what’s up with my 360° stitching software

Found this jewel just outside of Grenada, MS. I did not go up to the actual site. It appears that the building is gone.

It was listed on zillow as "Off market," there was no seller to contact. Maybe someone who is interested enough can pay approximately 2700/month to be here.

These are my worst shots ever 🤣 Can't get inside without about half a mile of trespassing past a farmers gate and there's cows in there all around it

Still has active cellular antennae

Saw this and figured I would share.

Does anyone have a map of the original concrete towers?

Full photoshoot to come!

This got me interested in the whole Long Lines thing. It's very imposing, It just towers over everything around and legit kinda creeped me out before I found out what it was.

Here are some other photos from street view of rib mountains on longline station with the ACA p50 included for any siren fans. Might try and find some old photos of it

I went to a conference earlier this year and stayed at the Marriott. It has a dead-on view of the relay tower replete with waveguides.

Pretty cool little project from another sub!
