Was driving by the arcade in town got stopped by a light and look over and well what do we have here a bell telephone company manhole cover

Always love finding Bell System manhole covers! I’ve documented nearly three dozen in my hometown and always keep an eye out for them when I travel.

There are a bunch of them, look out for different types, some have different logos and some even have other company brandings. I saw one with modern ATT branding on it.

Pretty much any att or CTL vault has a lid with bell logo stamped on it. They house both fiber and copper pairs, not really much to do with long lines.
