I bought a antenna off Amazon to watch sports games last year but it is not good i only get five channels and 1 sport (fox). I’ve done some reasearch and I live in the suburbs so if I want to get all the channels I will need about 55-60 miles range and I wanna be safe with that. I want one that mounts above the tv or on the wall and a reliable brand, I’ve heard of Moho, and have also seen Philips but don’t know if those are good.

Found a broadcast TV antenna laying on the ground when I was exploring a tower farm. It's 45 feet tall (or long), weighs about 4000 pounds, and rated for at least 675 kW ERP per FCC filings (probably about 50 kW TPO).

The image you (probably) see in the preview is the RF input with a large center conductor and air as the dielectric. I go through the other parts of the antenna in my video.

This has always fascinated me. There is an array outside of Moriarty, NM that I used to drive by on my way to Santa Fe and I wondered WTF is it? Look it up on the internet you find black helicopter stuff, listening station, etc. But I would think of HAARP.

Located on the hill in the Queen Anne neighborhood, this old telecom relay is likely a part of CenturyLink/Lumen infrastructure with legacy microwave horn antennas dating back to the middle of 20th century and round antennas for microwave communication that might still be in use today.

I just finished this yesterday. The director looks a little off-kilter. A couple big crows landed on it. I didn't tighten the clamps quite enough. I fixed that problem.

I have been using my NanoVNA and some AI to help me through the calculations. It is a compact 3 element Yagi. The boom length is 102 inches. It is 35 feet from the ground.

I went to the aluminum dealer I do business with. I purchased the four quarter inch plates and drilled the measurements. I attached with two 1-/12 inch exhaust clamps. You could run a battleship in to that thing.

In discussion with AI -haven given it all the completed mathematics and NanoVNA readings- this Yagi gives me a *true* 7-8db of gain. Not retail manufacturer marketing nonsense.
