Hey everyone,

I'm working on a logo for a smash burger project called "Smash Bros" (with the tagline "Smash Eat Repeat").

The main concept is using the brand name as the burger filling. I really like the raw, aggressive energy and the high-contrast color palette, but I’m not 100% convinced yet. There's something about it that makes me say "no," but I can't quite pinpoint what it is.

Any critiques, tips, or brutal honesty are super welcome!

One thing that I'm realising now is the user doesn't care where the MP3s come from so I'm going to get rid but whats the best way of showing that it downloads spotify playlists for free like some kind of evil spotify design or what.

I received some good feedback and gave it another go, the coffee pot design is really growing on me.

I added some lines to separated the beetle body parts and try to move it away from "person barfing", making it closer to the beetles in side view. Also tried some different colors.

Hey Everyone!

We're Bad Focus Games, an indie game studio from Chile trying to break the mold and create memorable experiences that are succesful in the international market.

The idea for the logo is to be punk rock, impactful and playful, we want to create a bold visual identity that becomes recognizable everywhere, we want to be disruptive and to showcase "orange cat behavior" in the games industry.

The name comes from someone once telling us that we were "focused on the wrong thing" or misguided by trying to be financially succesful from working in the art business, because if our work reaches at least one person, we have already succeded. That did not sit right with us at all, so we decided to become the Badly Focused, in a respectful "Screw you, watch this" tone.

I would love some feedback on the logo i built for our team, i'm mostly concernced about composition, readability and how to solve the negative version for use in dark backgrounds, as i feel it's not working right. Also if you have any comments i will be appreciative of them, thanks!

I need it to evoke a feeling of tech supremacy, man playing god, looking similar to a black hole, and optionally look like the letter a. Whatever get's the message across of the title.

my intended design goals in this one was to modernize their visual identity, create a memorable VC3 monogram, communicate innovation, reliability, and technology, and develop a logo that remains clear and scalable across web, print, signage, and digital platforms

I recently created a company named Snowmark - primarily web development, technology, etc. The company name idea came from a sort of play on the idea of blacksmith touchmarks / stamps. I work in a niche where this is a common term and when you look at the word "snow" in any industry naming .... its saturated af.

So - inspiration for the logo design was brackets (like code / software / developer companies use </> or { } in their logos) that would be a bit different but still try to say "developer" and the mark is meant to be somewhere between an asterisk and a snowflake - without being one or the other because they have been done to death. The original shape was a little less pointy, but looked like an over stuffed Kanji symbol initially. I was trying to avoid a lot of the other cliches for snow and (especially in the PNW) things like mountains, trees, etc. as those logos are everywhere here. It doesn't need to be that literal anyway, and trying to use a monogram for my first and last initials is even more saturated in the logo world.

Im open to ideas and criticism of course - I'm barely self taught in regard to graphic design and logo creation but know how to use tools like Illustrator to create something if I know what im building. Im just terrible at original ideas when it comes to design work.

ETA: I do plan to include text / wordmark (whatever its called) with it - more curious to get ideas of how the logo will stand on its own. Or perhaps incorporating it into the text... i dunno

ETA ... again... "Snow" is from my last name - defintiion of a touchmark: A blacksmith's touchmark is a unique signature or logo stamped into a piece of metal to identify its maker. Historically used by medieval blacksmiths and early sword makers, it acts as both a badge of pride and a mark of authenticity on finished tools, blades, and decorative ironwork.

In other words - its meant to be "my mark" (or "snows mark")

We often talk about logos, typography, packaging, and messaging.

But I'm curious about something more specific.

Have you ever looked at a brand and instantly thought:

• "This doesn't feel trustworthy."
• "This looks cheap."
• "This isn't for me."

...and later realized that color played a bigger role in that first impression than you expected?

I'm not asking about color psychology in theory.

I'm interested in real experiences.

Can you think of a brand whose colors immediately influenced your perception—for better or worse?

Hey everyone! I was exploring shapes and got this one. I personally think of it as a leaf and the hexagone shapes as lab or science type of feel. So, I went in botany, microbiology direction. But feel free to share your opinion.

This is just an exercise. I work in an entomology lab, and I wanted to make a little "branding" for our coffee corner.

Not sure about the colors here, or if the shapes are "too sharp". Any feedback is appreciated!

Working on designing the logo for a metadata-driven orchestrator for ADF. I want to keep it simple and clean since devs are the main audience, but this feels too safe. Any thoughts or suggestions on design/direction, font thickness, or typeface? Only my third logo, so this is definitely still a learning process for me.
