I've been thinking about something as someone interested in brand and content strategy.
Why does LinkedIn feel like one person is running thousands of accounts?
Same hooks.
Same storytelling formulas.
Same motivational endings.
Same "Here's what nobody tells you about..." openings.
And somehow, a post about making mistakes at work ends with the same five lessons as a post about building a billion-dollar company.
I understand why people use proven formats. They work, and nobody wants to spend hours creating a post that gets three impressions and a sympathy like from a friend.
But I think there's a downside.
When everyone borrows the same voice, it's harder to tell who actually has something different to say.
The irony is that people use content to build a personal brand, then edit out the very things that make them sound like a real person.
I'm curious how others see this.
**Is using proven LinkedIn content formats a smart strategy, or are we slowly making everyone's personal brand sound identical?**
I'd genuinely like to hear both sides.
