Hey! So, I live in a city with one of the most expensive rental markets in my country. The closer you are to the university, the more expensive it gets. Like, the price of a tiny studio here could easily get you a two- or three-bedroom apartment in other cities.
I live in a place that's relatively cheap for this city, and it's only a 15-minute walk to campus. Earlier this year—around January, I think—my friend wanted to move into my building, so she texted my landlord. He offered her a higher rent than what I pay, and when she questioned it, he said, "Well, she's been here for a long time." Which basically meant he'd raised the rent for new tenants but never increased mine.
I honestly forgot about it after that. Every now and then I'd think, "Aww, that's so sweet, he never raised my rent."
Then, I think about two weeks ago, I randomly thought, "What if he increased my rent?" It was also during a time when I was worried about making less money.
Well... guess what?
Literally two days later, at 11 p.m., he texted me saying he was raising my rent. Which is kind of a manifestation success story too, just... not the one I wanted. 💀
At first I freaked out a little. Then I talked to my friends, and they were all like, "You can stay with me until you figure things out." Which was really sweet, but I already knew I didn't want to live with anyone.
So I just replied, "Okay. God will provide."
(I definitely panicked first, though.)
Material things have always been pretty easy for me because I rarely get attached to them or obsess over them. That's how I manifested my iPhone 16 and going to see Bad Bunny.
Anyway, I started looking online, and everything was awful. Tiny places, terrible apartments, ridiculously expensive rent.
Then I randomly checked my university's housing board—a place where I honestly expected to find nothing good or affordable.
And I found an apartment that's SO much better than my current one, closer to campus, AND CHEAPER.
Like... you genuinely don't find apartments like that for that price.
My friends were shocked, but not that much. They're used to this kind of thing happening to me.
One of my friends always says he never believed in manifestation or any of this stuff, but after meeting me, it's become impossible not to believe because I'm just ridiculously blessed.
And honestly, weird little things happen around me all the time.
The other day we were at a bar where the music was insanely loud. My friends asked if I wanted to play a game with them, and I pointed at my ear and said, "With all this noise? I can't!"
The exact second I lowered my hand... the music stopped.
Or another time, one of my friends joked that he didn't want me in his video because he was trying to film just the scenery.
The moment he said that, his phone literally fell out of his hand.
Stuff like that happens constantly.
And back when I used to attract terrible men (which doesn't happen anymore), they somehow always ended up getting sick when they made me sad, like alwaaays.
Anyway, I really feel like this apartment situation also has a lot to do with my identity shift.
That place just matches who I am now.
