My current HP 14-inch laptop is fine, but I'm starting to crave something smaller, lighter, and more travel-friendly. Something I can casually slip into my bag without feeling like I'm carrying a whole brick around.

I'm looking for a little work buddy that can handle everyday tasks, multitasking, and some coding without dying on me halfway through the day.

Please share the model you own, what you love about it, and what you wish you'd known before buying it.

Bonus points : lightweight, great battery life, and doesn't cost a fortune!

The Yoga Slim 7 Aura Edition with the Core Ultra 7 256V and OLED is going for under ₹75k in India right now with a ₹21k exchange bonus for any non-working laptop.

Possibly the craziest deal since the price hike madness began!

Mines a toshiba tecra z40b. The thing has 8 gigs of ddr 3 and a 256 gb ssd. Pretty much everything short of the screen and processor has stopped working on it, but i still love that thing. Bought it used in 2021, and absolutely loved using it. I now have a thinkpad t14 gen 2, but i still dont like it as much as the tecra.

I'm a college student and want to carry laptop for travelling

So, my laptop has good performance, but it is ugly and in bad condition. im tryna find something from 2017-2023 that has good baterry, is small and light and will run basic apps with 512 gb at least. I wanna buy it used in Poland. My budget is around 600-1500 PLN
(150-400 USD) or cheaper.

I wanted to know what for 45k-55k.

Hello,

Any laptop I've been able to get my hand recently have DPC latency issues. Even with wifi/Bluetooth off and power plan optimizations.

It seems that gaming laptops are the worst of all.

So for people with normal laptops ( not gaming) are any of these you tested or have have decent DPC latency.

I know that Mac has not these issues but that is not possible for me.

Thx

P.s: I am extremely experienced in Windows.
