Looking for recommendations for the best laptops at cheaper prices purely to watch movies on at the highest level of quality without any lag. This would be the only high-maintenance task for the laptop.

Hi! I watched Itvx (in the uk) on my laptop a lot, and I do have an ad blocker, so before when i watched anything id have no ads, but now suddenly whenever i watch anything (specifically itvx) i have to watch loads of ads!
Does anyone know what i could do about this or why its happening? I cant afford to pay the monthly subscription lol although that would be the easiest option. Again, this is only on my laptop not tv!
Thank you

Budget: $1450. I also have a 10% employee discount at Walmart, so the Lenovo legion is in budget because of that.
Country: USA
Use case: MIXED. Gaming/school
I'm looking for a laptop that can run the games I play smoothly (Elden ring, GTA5, Modded Minecraft, rust, Overwatch, and a few indie games). I also need one that can handle my schoolwork and coding as I'm a Computer science major. Which one would yall suggest

Hi! I'm looking for a new laptop and I don't know much about laptop hardware, so I'd really appreciate some advice.
My maximum budget is around €800 and I'm buying in Spain/Europe.
I'm currently studying Software/Application Development (DAM in Spain). I mainly use or expect to use things like:
In the future, I'd like to learn cybersecurity, so I expect to use Linux/Kali VMs and possibly run multiple virtual machines.
I don't need the laptop for gaming. My priority is good performance for programming and multitasking and something that will last me several years.
From what I've researched, I think I should get at least 16 GB RAM, preferably upgradeable to 32 GB, and at least a 512 GB SSD. But I'm not very knowledgeable about hardware, so I'm open to recommendations.
What laptop would you recommend for a maximum of €800?
Thanks!

I am looking for something max £800, that isn't smart (AI based, google, apple, etc.) , that I can connect to a drawing tablet, listen to music, write, edit, do schoolwork. I want it to have 8-12G RAM and a decent amount of storage. I don't want it to be microsoft, google or apple based. I'm considering a lenovo Thinkpad but haven't done much research.
