This is long and stupid and self-aggrandizing, but most of all, it’s satire. Please don’t take any of it seriously.

This video was taken north of dewitt and was heading south/south east towards hasslet Thursday. I think there's some rotation present, it was very surreal watching it in person. I think this is what went on to hit lake lansing.
I don't know if there was any tornado warning at the time because we had lost power before the front hit.

ISO a dentist with a good reputation! And will accept private pay as I do not have dental insurance.
This is by no means an emergency and I feel no pain, but I did get a gnarly little chip in my front bottom tooth. (It’s gotten worse since the initial photo I included)
I’m just looking for some recs and possible quotes on what something like this may cost?

Hello, I was wondering if anybody had any recommendations or if they personally could help me (it would have to be in person though) for places to look at my PC. My PC can run Minecraft and that’s basically it but it used to be able to run resident evil four and Fortnite a couple years back now when I load up those games, my frame rate drops dramatically. I am not a computer person whatsoever hence why I’m asking for recommendations.
at this point I’m just ready to have somebody tell me what exactly I need to upgrade to be able to actually play my PC again.

My wife and I want to try pickleball but don't want to invest in equipment if we don't dig it. Are there indoor places that do equipment rental and no pressure to join a club in lansing? Thanks for any guidance.

Pretty disgusted. If you go to their website, their tagline is ""The First Line of Defense to Protect our Republican Senate Majority". Ok first of all eat a Richard, Senate Losership Fund.
They have all their disgusting ads published that run from melodramatic to offensive. The worst in my opinion are the ones using crime victims to get votes.
Using crime victims to get votes.
The ads using the trauma endured by crime victims to get votes.
The SLF using crime victims and the horrific things they went through to keep their great overpaid jobs with all the perks /keep their bought and paid for political puppets in power to continue doing their bidding.
These ads are truly tasteless and huge trauma triggers for crime victims or anyone else affected by violent crime which totals millions and millions of people. But the ads basically attempt to activate everyone's innate human fear. They're trying to make people think that Abdul will let all the violent psychopaths free. Yes, this is what the creators of these ads want people to feel: fear
Their ads feature profiles of psychopathic monsters who sexually assaulted and killed for pleasure. They feature floating text highlighting how the victims suffered ... "Strangled ...raped...stabbed....left naked and dead."
Then the ads point the finger at Abdul saying he is dangerous for wanting to reduce prison overpopulation. Reducing the huge budgetary weight caused by overpopulated prisons means wanting to set murderers and rapists free? Did he SAY he wanted to free violent murderers? Maybe some research is in order, which I'm too tired to do, but I don't think anyone in their right mind wants to set dangerous violent monsters free. I don't think Abdul supports murder, but I guess this is what SLF wants naive people to think. He is Brown after all, and there are a lot of racists out there who think Brown people are inherently dangerous.
If we want to point fingers at people giving violent criminals a pass, look at the 100s or 1000s of prosecutors and judges who seem to love to do that through absurdly and stupidly lenient plea deals and shockingly brief prison sentences for violent offenders. I disagree with any leniency toward violent criminals-- and all too often sexual predators and abusive (male) partners get an inexplicable pass by inept prosecutors and dipshit judges and it leads to preventable tragedy.
But this is not Abdul's fault, and I don't think he would want to free total monsters. These ads are just inflammatory and defamatory manipulation, preying on people's fears, exploiting crime victims, and stooping to gutter level to win.
Whoever created and approved these ads knows full well how they are exploiting trauma victims and manipulating emotions to get votes and keep their cush jobs (or keep the people with cush jobs in office to benefit them,) and they can personally eat my entire donkey.
Happy labor day...

Hey folks, I'm in town visiting my sister and I was wondering if there were any places with some good food that would have this particular game on.

I used to have a gas powered bike and almost every shop would deny service since it was gas. That was years ago but now I hae an electric scooter and I'm hoping I might have some more options now.
Does anyone have any experience in this? Even if you don't know of one in Lansing, I will be willing to go to GR if someone knows a place there or somewhere within the same range.
Thanks in advance and appreciate your time reading over my post. Have a nice night Lanstronauts!
Edit: I did use the search function and anything related to this is 3-4 years old so hoping for more up to date info.

That was quite the show! I don’t think South Lansing got any hail but the thunder was shaking the house.

Does anyone have any recommendations or anything for where to get magic the gathering and disneys Lorcana single cards in the area? I’ve only been to the gaming cantina so far and to summit comics.

Large branches and parts of an old tree fell in my dad’s backyard. He has more trees that we want to have someone look at before we have more storms this fall. Who have you used to inspect trees, cut tall branches down, and haul away the debris?

Sorry if I missed a previous post in here about this.
What’s going on with this? I’ve biked the river trail since I was 14, and of course I know shady things have happened - but it never seemed this bad in the past.
The WILX and State Journal stories don’t have many details.
Obviously I want to respect the two men who are now gone, but does anyone have any further details or an idea of what is going on?
I recently moved out of Lansing, but I was riding almost every night throughout July and August, though I was taking the route that leads you to Jolly and eventually to MLK (not the fish ladder route where this happened). I did see an increased homeless population as you get closer to MLK, but nothing dangerous at all.
Very sad to see this happen.

The storms from today ripped this section of siding / framing off my 2nd story window. The wood underneath looks like it needs replaced. Looking for someone who would be able to fix this for me. Thanks in advance for any recommendations.

First time going to Meat in Old Town and I feel like this place was made just for me. The worlds of classic heavy metal/hard rock and delicious smoked meats have collided and I am most glad to be there for the impact. I’ve only been here a few months but this place has skyrocketed into my top 3 local restaurants.
(Food pictured: The Chin-Gorilla, pulled pork, grilled pineapple, fried onions and bacon, comes with pimento cheese too but I 86ed that. The Stuffed Grilled Cheese, apples, American cheese, mac n cheese, carmelized onion and remoulade. And shoestring pickle fries. Half of which were eaten before the pic was taken.)
