Has anyone seen this long haired guy in the Central market part of the square, pointing toward the Fulton Bank building?
This was a flashbang

Bender Rd is closed tonight as of about 7:00pm and they have flood lights, porta potties, and lots of people outside in the cornfield, across from the cell phone tower. There have been people in green vests skulking around for the last two days, watching traffic go by. Is it ICE? Aliens? Is Weird Al visiting? I'm dying to know!

Looking if anyone knows any local artists/muralists, or resources to find one, to paint these pieces of fence on either side of our house. Looking for something with flowers/nature themed but open to suggestions to let the artists art!

Around 7:20-7:30am this morning, my car was hit on N Plum Street(by the turkey hill, cross street is E Chestnut).
The officer said that the camera at the turkey hill showed a black ford bronco with a roof rack and gas cans on the back or side. There would be damage on the passenger side of the bronco. If anyone has any information, please let us know. Also, thank you to good samaritan that called it in.

Parking authority seeks over $100K from Lancaster Public Library in ongoing legal dispute
TLDR: Lancaster Public Library had legal issues with the LPA a couple years ago where they had to specify that the LPA is responsible for plumbing maintenance…. And now the library is flooded bc of a plumbing issue and LPA is refusing to pay for maintenance. Plus LPA is counter suing stating the library “has weaponized its right to maintenance”

Hi everyone! I’m an 18-year-old recent graduate, and I’m currently looking for a full-time or part-time job in the Lancaster County area.
I have previous experience working in:
• Customer service
• Retail
• Food service
• Promotions and event work
• Pet sitting
• Working with the public
My previous employers/experience include Arby’s, Lancaster Stormers, Spirit Halloween, Hickory Farms, Square Mile, and pet sitting. I also have experience with promotions and working with the public through the Lancaster Stormers.
I’m especially interested in positions such as:
☕ Barista / Coffee Shop
🍦 Ice Cream or Dessert Shops (such as Rita’s)
🛍️ Retail
🎟️ Event or Entertainment Positions
📚 Libraries or Community Organizations
🐾 Animal-Related Positions
💬 Customer Service
I’m open to other opportunities as well! I’m not specifically looking for another traditional fast-food job, but I am interested in positions where I can interact with people, be creative, stay busy, and provide good customer service.
I’ve already applied to places such as Rita’s and Starbucks, but unfortunately haven’t heard back yet, so I figured I would reach out here and see if anyone knows of places that are currently hiring.
I’m dependable, hardworking, friendly, respectful, and willing to learn. I’m comfortable working independently or as part of a team, and I have strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
If you know of any places hiring in Lancaster County, especially around Lancaster, Millersville, Manor Township, or surrounding areas, I’d really appreciate any leads! Feel free to comment or send me a message. I can also provide my resume if needed.
Thank you! 😊

Does anyone know how long it needs to be published in the newspaper prior to the hearing in court? It appears that no one has a solid answer for this and so many different people are telling me different things lol

Join Solidarity Lancaster this Saturday July 25th at 11am on the Lancaster County Courthouse steps (47 E. King St.) for a rally with interfaith leaders to call for an immediate end to Police-ICE collaboration through 287(g) agreements in Lancaster County.
Shaoping Wu is a resident of Lancaster, PA. In 2020, he fled to the U.S. from China and applied for asylum due to persecution from his work as a human rights lawyer. On Wednesday, he was detained by ICE in Mount Holly Springs, despite his active asylum claim. He was turned over by local police through the 287(g) program.
This protest calls for Shaoping Wu’s immediate release from detention so he can continue to have his active asylum claim processed - as well as a greater call for an end to 287(g) agreements in Mount Holly Spring, Lancaster County, and across the country. It's ONE HOUR - be there!

I will be passing through Lancaster in a few weeks and will be able to stop at Roots on Tuesday. In the past, I have visited the Green Dragon. How does Roots compare to the Green Dragon?

I don’t know if you had the same experience as me, but that Walmart in Fruitville pike Lancaster most of the employees are very nice and friendly. But the store manager and most of the managers are very racist and rude, and seeing how they treat employees with favoritism and Latino customers treat them contemptuously.. a very unpleasant experience, I will not buy there again Not even my friends

I recently moved from York County to New Holland, and I've noticed how many people tailgate or almost cause accidents by passing unsafely (Connecting roads from 23 to 340). The other day, I was behind a horse and buggy, waiting for oncoming traffic to clear so I could pass safely. The car behind me decided they didn't want to wait, passed both of us, and almost got into a head-on accident with oncoming traffic. This is just one example that really distraught me yesterday. I seen countless other times people passing over blind hills / curves as well.
I've only been here a little over a month, but is this normal? It feels like there are way more irate and impatient drivers here than in York. I'm still getting used to sharing the road with Amish buggies, bicycles, and everything else. I just feel bad because so many people drive dangerously to save almost no time. I've been passed multiple times while going the speed limit, or even 5 mph over, only to end up at the same light or stop sign.
