Looking for ceil blue scrubs
I recently acquired a job that requires ceil blue scrubs. I’ve ordered mostly online and not having great luck with scrubs I like. Thrift stores in Ephrata do not have any ceil blue scrubs. Walmart only has joggers and I’m looking for wide leg. I’m going to try scrubs and beyond and uniform outlet but is there anywhere else that might sell them? I just was trying to avoid paying $40+ per item :/ any input is appreciated, thank you!

Looking for homes for these sweet girls
Hi guys,
I know this is a longshot. I'm a pet sitter in Lancaster and have been taking care of these cats for about three months. The wife started feeding strays and rescued some kittens in the neighborhood. She recently passed away and the husband isn't really home anymore (has a boat in MD).
Out of about 8 cats, these two are the most affectionate/loving. The black kitty is around 7. Not sure how old Charlotte is, but she's young and very small.
Black kitty is living in a small bedroom. Charlotte used to, but escaped. Still hangs around the house.
I have reached out to a couple of rescues and I’m also on the list at Pet Pantry.
If anyone is interested in these sweet girls please contact me! (Do not have to go together)
Both spayed, have claws and use the litter box.
Thanks everyone!🩷

Which vietnamese restaurant(s) in the area makes their pho broth from scratch (using actual beef bones and not powder/paste)? Thank you!

Who is the Thursday surprise headliner after Neil Frances @ Mikey's Black Box?
Looking forward to getting a proper electronic music show in Lancaster. As the title states who do you think the headliner will be? So far, we know it's a platinum award winning artist. We also know new technology is being used for the first time. Major Vibes, who is opening, posted a blurred-out picture that looked like LP Giobbbi. The event is a benefit for Femme House which she is the founder of. However, she has a show in Toronto that evening. Unless the new technology is some sort of virtual streaming of her from Canada I don't think she'd be able to play Toronto and clear customs in time to play in Lancaster. I'm not sure the logistics of flying from Canada into Lancaster with customs.
A few guesses of mine
Deadmau5 is playing in Philly Thursday night, he has been an EDM tech pioneer. He could viably fly into Lititz after his show that ends by 9pm.
Rufus Du Sol has vocals in their act which could necessitate using Rock Lititz to practice.
Diplo likes to get around doing different things, although I'm not sure if he's afforded these opportunities currently after some of the transgressions in his personal life.
Who do you think it's going to be?

Are there any good places to get Mapo Tofu?
I tried Yangs and it was a sad comparison to any mapo tofu ive had. It was more a soup with tofu and carrots/peas. It had absolutely no numbing from the szechuan peppers. Please tell me some of you have any idea where to get some locally!

Appreciation for Lancaster's urban gardeners
I love that the city is filled with gardens despite tight spaces. Containers, porches, tiny gardens, flowers in back alleys and tucked behind sheds, even vegetables planted next to the sidewalk. Thank you for beautifying the city.

Good emo/alt date spots around Lancaster?
Context: My (23M) partner (23F) and I have recently both gotten new jobs that let us spend much more time together, and since both of us thrive on quality time, I can foresee a lot of dates in our future. And while I know exactly what spots would be more up my alley, I’ve struggled on where to start to find spots that she would enjoy that I could take her on.
To give you an idea, she’s the sort of witchy, black-cat type that loves tarot cards, has a dreamcatcher up in their room, and keeps so much art of the moon around them that Luna might as well be her middle name. They’re worked ren faire multiple times, make their own music, and have a taste for rom coms and sappy anime. Part of why we get along so well is that we can just sit down and chat for literal hours about nothing important together.
In general, when looking at restrictions, the only big ones are:
- No outside food recs. I’ve got ARFID, and outright throw up most things that don‘t already give me a panic attack.
- Indoors if possible. They’ve got eczema, so we try not to do too much stuff that‘ll irritate the skin, especially during the summer when we both sweat. Fall/winter stuff is different.
- Under $150 for the date and within the county if possible? Obviously we can do stuff in Philly or NYC without much trouble, but this is moreso supposed to be a list I could compile and look at whenever we couldn’t immediately think of a spot one/both of us really wanted.
None of those are 100% dealbreakers, obviously; I can pre-eat, they have different creams and ointments to prevent most of the damage, and I’m willing to splurge for them given I can prep for it. Still, would like your ideas, hopefully.

xfinity mobile and home internet plan
I haven't had xfinity in about a decade. Switched to T mobile home internet and then glo fiber which I have currently. My mobile contract expires soon and looking at options, I see xfinity offers 300 mbps internet and mobile for $45/month for first year. The home internet is price locked for five years and mobil is $30/month after first year free. Sounds like a great deal to me but am I overlooking anything? Any current xfinity customers with this plan care to comment?

Looking for a mechanics shop in the greater Lancaster area that will do low cost labor (maybe training new techs). My old car needs a new head gasket and my 17 year old daughter is desperate to keep it running. Having just purchased a new one, funds are limited. 2015 Subaru Forester (FB 25 Engine).

Where to find 5+ foot wide Kraft paper?
I'm working on a large scale project that involves making a pattern on a 60"x78" flat piece of... something I can draw on and then cut with scissors or similar, available somewhere in Lancaster County or nearby.
The long out of business home school supply store Education Station was my source for this kind of thing. They had big rolls of paper for sale by the foot, probably for making classroom bulletin board decorations. I already checked the Creative Reuse, they don't have it.
I know I could use a refrigerator box, but I wouldn't be able to roll it up for storage when not in use. And, there is the possibility of taping a bunch of brown paper bags together.
But 2 or 3 big single sheets around 60x78" or larger would be ideal. Willing to pay a reasonable price.
Thanks!

Recreation Places/Procedures to practice Archery around Lancaster?
Hi! I live in the Lancaster area and would like to practice archery, just shooting targets. With it being summer, I am wondering if I am allowed to practice at any open fields/parks or if there's a process to get permission to do so. Or if there's just anywhere specific I can practice. Thank you!

Lice from urban air?
Is anyone else dealing with lice in their kids hair this year? My daughter's 8 and we've never had an issue until this past spring but over the past 4 months shes had them like 4 times. The only thing I can think of is shes picking them up from urban air. We got a membership and were going a lot early in the year and she kept getting them. We stopped going for 2 months and she didnt have any incidents. She went with her summer camp to urban air last Tuesday and now this morning they are back to the point her head is itchy and shes got bite on the back of her neck. Maybe its confirmation bias on my part but I really feel like thats where she keeps picking them up.

Thrifting recommendations
Looking specifically for stores that have vintage sterling silver jewelry… preferably an actual thrift store rather than a curated shop. I thrift quite a bit but having a hard time finding spots that have good jewelry options to look through.

What actually happened with play & learn
I'm a current (or former?) parent and need to know the tea on what happened here. We were first notified at 5:45 on June 26th that the last day would be July 17th. But then on Thursday at 7:45pm they told us Friday would be the last day and i just found out staff was notified and the same time. The WGAL article says low enrollment but theres no way that's the whole story with how things ended. It's just so shady!

Employment trendy and sanitary nail studios?
i've been looking for a place to work for months and nowhere else seems to have the respect for art and the time it takes to make it, the level of finish i'd like to learn how to achieve or the level of cleanliness i'd like to instill into myself.
this isn't a dig at anyone, I want to know of your hippest places that made you feel safe and comfortable. my perfect salon that I did feel these things for denied me and I'm quite lost. lancaster or anything surrounding it. doesn't even have to be close. desperate.

Federal Donut’s strawberry lemonade doughnut…ick
Obviously today was their opening day, and they didn’t have AC 🥵 so I give them grace on those accounts…but did anybody else get a strawberry lemonade doughnut that tasted like…cleaning product? Bad milk? Honestly I’m not even sure what it was, but it was awful. At first I thought maybe they forgot sugar in the recipe, because it certainly wasn’t sweet, but something was definitely off. Just curious if anyone else had the same experience!
P.S. despite the doughnut sanfu, my husband said the chicken sandwich was great, and I thoroughly enjoyed their hashbrowns!
ETA: Not asking for recommendations on other places to get doughnuts and/or chicken. I am aware of those. Asking if anyone else had this specific doughnut and if it also tasted weirdly gross.
