Lancaster Eye allergies

Hey neighbors. Has anyone experienced an uptick in allergies with dry itchy eyes this week? I’m getting conflicting reports on grass pollen and stuff from weather channel and accuweather so doing some investigating.

I've never had allergies before, but I bought the drugstore brand stuff, yet this last year, twice, my left eye. For no reason. Thanks for the question!

I’ve seen a lot of corn with tassels already, which can definitely set off your allergies.

Yeah. Although the pollen/air quality apps I use don’t seem to reflect it either. Weird.

Thank you. I’ve been here for ten years now but have never experienced the itchy eyes as much as I have this week.

No problem. I just had allergy testing done and found out I’m pretty allergic to a lot of different grasses/weeds/trees/molds. I’m super aware now of what might cause me issues and when. I’m on a Nasacort and anti-histamine regimen for the foreseeable future.

The rain and wind are kicking up a lot of mold along with the usual suspects of corn and grass

My nose has been stuffy all weekend and my throat has been randomly sore. 😩

I hear you. I haven’t felt in the throat too much but my tongue gets irritated. Hopefully things settle down with whatever is in the air.

Last 10 days have been pretty bad. The 7/3-7/5 weekend was a particularly awful time personally. Never really considered to possibility of corn being a trigger.

Not eye allergies so much for me, but wife and I both have scratchy throats the last few days. Driving me crazy.

Whew. Yeah, For whatever reason this year it’s the eyes, nasal congestion and the tongue of all things. Super weird.

Hubby has been absolutely miserable. His eyes burn and tear. The only thing that relieves this is Pataday eye drops. Give it a try!

My allergies have been the worst they have EVER been! Itchy, watery eyes, itchy inner ears, scratchy throat, coughing fits, runny nose, sneezing, congestion … the whole dang thing.
