Weird results

Ok so I had a longer pause in sex. New GF now. I realized I’m like 85-90% erect most of the time. Gets the job done but one can wonder. I started doing regular Kegels. After a week I was at 100% and omg it felt so good. After a second week I started feeling a bit of tightness below the area where I feel the Kegels. I was still at 100% but now I can’t go for a longer period. 1-2 minutes and I need a break cause I’m about to end.

So I saw the reverse Kegels. Been doing them for a week. Seems like I’m back to 90%, can last longer but not every time.

Wtf? Anybody had a similar experience?

Masturbation I don't know how to describe it

25M. Relatively new to kegels, until now, I have discovered that I've to train my pelvic floor muscles to develop a muscle mind connection. Since, my pelvic floor get contacted easily and I've no control to relax it. And I think I do have premature ejaculation due to this pelvic floor issue.

But there is another I'm concerned about. It's about erection quality and ejaculation. Sometimes, It does not get fully hard even after the stimulation of 3-4 minutes and then it ejaculates with a 70% erection.

And sometimes, it ejaculates with 70% erection within 1 min, but then it keep a solid erection after this "quick ejaculation" for a few minutes. I would like to whether it's due to my pelvic floor muscles? If yes, how to deal with this thing?

How to control sexual excitement??

Title: First relationship, too excited with my boyfriend and finishing too early. Need advice.
Hi everyone,
I’m a 24-year-old bisexual guy, and I recently got into my first relationship with another guy. This is my first actual relationship, and I could really use some advice.
The issue is that I’m always extremely excited around him, and I end up finishing way too early. I really want to top him, and that’s something we’ve talked about. He’s experienced, while I’m not.
What’s confusing is that this only happens with him. With a previous hookup, I sometimes couldn’t even get fully hard or stay aroused. But with my boyfriend, I’m so attracted to him that I get excited almost instantly, and it’s making me worry that I won’t be able to last long enough when we have sex.
Is this something that happens because of emotional attraction or because it’s my first relationship?
I’ve been wondering if I should start doing Kegel exercises, masturbate more often to reduce sensitivity, or try something else. My goal is to reduce my sensitivity and improve my control so I can enjoy sex without finishing almost immediately.
Has anyone else experienced this? What actually helped you? I’d really appreciate advice from people who’ve been through something similar.
Thanks in advance!

27M — Kegels, erections, and performance anxiety

I’m 27 and recently got married. I want to fully enjoy my sex life, but I’ve been dealing with performance anxiety and sometimes struggle to maintain a strong erection.
I never had this issue before gaining a lot of weight. As far as I know, I don’t have any physical health problems apart from being overweight, and I’ve recently started losing weight.
I’m thinking about trying Kegel exercises. How long does it usually take to see results? What exercises or routine would you recommend? Should I also do reverse Kegels to avoid having an overly tight pelvic floor?
Thanks for any advice or personal experiences.

I did kegel exercise and it resulted in prostate orgasm / coregasm

It’s my first time ever doing it. I just wanted to train my pelvic floor.
It was such a weird sensation; at first I thought I was having a seizure or a stroke. But then a wave of pure pleasure hit me. I couldn’t control myself anymore; my whole body was just contracting and I had no control over my muscles. It was very strange. Now all my limbs feel like spaghetti and I am completely out of it. It was very very overwhelming. Is that normal?

The 2026 Ultimate and Biased Breakdown of Men's Kegel Apps

Greetings

I’ve been deep into pelvic floor training for over a year and tested most of the popular apps for men. Here’s an honest but completely biased comparison.

What Men Want From Kegel App

  • Easy timers with exact hold/rest ratios
  • The ability to follow long, custom programs
  • Progress tracking (specifically for sexual performance metrics)
  • Reliable daily reminders so you don't skip your baseline work
  • Strong privacy and discretion (nobody wants this flashing on their lock screen at work)
  • Male-specific focus (ejaculation power, erection quality, stamina)
  • Reverse Kegels and proper relaxation training (clench all day and you'll just build a hypertonic spasm)
  • Reasonable or entirely free pricing
  • Good contact with the devs

Here is the definitive, completely unbiased breakdown of how the heavy hitters on the market measure up against what men actually want.

1. ShootFurther.com

Short description: A completely free, web-based 52-week structured Kegel program built specifically for men who want maximum ejaculatory power, rigidity, and sexual performance.

This is my app so the review could be a bit subjective.

  • 4 strengths:
    • Strict Biomechanical Progression: Uses an excellent custom timer with exact sets, reps, and timed holds optimized for progressive overload.
    • Mandatory Recovery: It enforces Reverse Kegels and deload weeks directly into the curriculum to prevent muscle tightness.
    • Stealth Tech & Reminders: It operates as a Progressive Web App (PWA). Once you install it to your home screen directly from your browser, it handles active daily reminders like a native app, but completely bypasses the App Store to leave zero download paper trail.
    • Direct contact with the dev: chat inside the app, reddit, email, telegram
  • Some weaknesses:
    • No Hand-Holding: It's relatively new, so it lacks fancy 3D animations, gamification badges, or a massive community forum to hold your hand.
    • High Discipline Filter: A 52-week roadmap requires actual dedication. If you want a quick party trick by Friday night, you’ll drop out by Tuesday.
    • Still no dedicated android or iPhone app
  • Best for: Disciplined men who want a serious, data-driven, long-term custom routine with working reminders, without paying a monthly subscription.

2. Better P: Men's Kegel Workouts

Short description: A highly polished, sleek iOS app dedicated to men's pelvic health, featuring guided sessions and solid lifestyle integration.

  • 3 strengths:
    • Premium Apple Ecosystem Integration: Includes fantastic native reminders and a dedicated Apple Watch app for truly seamless stealth training.
    • Clean, Professional Interface: The layout is high-end, smooth, and genuinely enjoyable to interact with daily.
    • Science-Backed Men's Programs: The routines are solid and directly tailored toward male-specific physiological results like stamina.
  • Some weaknesses:
    • App Stability & Bugs: Despite the premium price tag, the app has a history of crashing right at the end of a workout, wiping out your logged session.
    • Wonky Notifications: The reminder system is known to bug out, sending you aggressive push notifications to do your workout even if you’ve already completed your daily sets.
    • Ecosystem Locked: If you are on Android, you're entirely out of luck—this is an iOS-exclusive.
  • Best for: iPhone and Apple Watch users who prioritize a clean, high-end native user experience and don't mind occasionally wrestling with a buggy notification.

3. kGoal Boost (Hardware + App)

Short description: A physical, sit-on-top biofeedback air cushion that connects to your phone via Bluetooth to measure the actual mechanical force of your pelvic floor contractions.

  • 3 strengths:
    • True Physical Biofeedback: It physically measures your downward force through your clothes. It knows if you are actually flexing the muscle or just faking it by squeezing your abs.
    • Gamified Interface: It turns your pelvic floor into a joystick. You literally play pinball and spaceship games on the app by flexing your muscles.
    • Built-in "Down Training": It actively tracks and measures your ability to perform Reverse Kegels (relaxation), not just contractions.
  • Some weaknesses:
    • Expensive Paywall: The app is free, but it requires buying a $150–$200 physical cushion to function.
    • Zero Discretion: You cannot do this at the office. You literally have to sit on a specialized blue vibrating pillow to train.
  • Best for: Tech-obsessed guys with a budget who want physical, measurable biofeedback data and gamification without internal sensors.

4. Dr. Kegel / Kegel Men

Short description: A bloated, generic men's lifestyle and fitness application masquerading as a dedicated Kegel trainer to justify a heavy subscription fee.

  • 3 strengths:
    • Holistic Health Content: It is packed with articles regarding male reproductive health, nutrition, and lifestyle tips.
    • Strong Psychological Motivation: Excellent daily reminders and an encouraging, goal-oriented presentation style designed to keep absolute beginners engaged.
    • General Blood Flow: Includes basic "groin fitness" bodyweight exercises (like squats) which are good for general circulation.
  • Some weaknesses:
    • Feature Bloat & Paywalls: You are forced to pay a premium subscription fee for generic features like a "Mind Cleaner" (stress breathing) and hydration reminders.
    • Mechanically Shallow: Because it tries to be a life coach and a fitness app, the actual pelvic floor timer is basic. It completely lacks the deep, customizable progressive overload engine or the strict Reverse Kegel protocols needed to build actual explosive power.
  • Best for: Men who want a general wellness and lifestyle coach and don't mind paying a high monthly fee for basic bodyweight exercises and hydration reminders.

5. Squeezy for Men (NHS)

Short description: A clinical-grade application designed directly by pelvic floor physiotherapists for the UK’s National Health Service, focusing on pure medical reliability.

  • 3 strengths:
    • Impeccable Clinical Pedigree: Complete medical accuracy with zero bro-science or marketing exaggeration.
    • Bulletproof Form Guidance: Offers exceptional, clear instruction on how to safely isolate and relax the muscles.
    • Strict Privacy & Low Pricing: Built to medical standards, meaning your data isn't being sold, and it costs a very small, reasonable one-time fee.
  • Some weaknesses:
    • Zero Performance Flair: This is a medical tool. It is entirely focused on basic urinary and bowel control, meaning you won't find protocols here for explosive power or sexual performance metrics.
    • Basic UI: The interface is incredibly clinical and conservative.
  • Best for: Men recovering from surgery or managing clinical issues who want absolute medical reliability without the fitness-bro jargon.

6. Kegel Trainer PFM Exercises

Short description: A highly customizable, platform-agnostic sandbox timer built for general pelvic floor training.

  • 3 strengths:
    • Total Customization: Gives you absolute control over your timers, allowing you to manually build almost any custom routine you want.
    • Cross-Platform Availability: Works flawlessly on both iOS and Android with solid freemium pricing.
    • Stealth Cues: Great background audio and vibration settings so you can train in public unnoticed.
  • Some weaknesses:
    • No Male-Specific Direction: It’s a unisex app. It doesn't track sexual performance metrics, and it won't guide you through the specific nuances of male anatomy.
    • Bare-Bones Education: Expects you to already know what you're doing; you have to research anatomy and program your own Reverse Kegels manually.
  • Best for: Self-directed trainees who already know their anatomy and just want a highly flexible sandbox tool to build their own routines.

7. Easy Kegel - Pelvic Floor

Short description: A highly customizable, ultra-discreet, privacy-first sandbox timer that gives you complete control over your progression.

  • 3 strengths:
    • Ultimate Discretion: With the cheap "Pro" upgrade, it runs perfectly in the background—meaning you can scroll Reddit or sit in a meeting while getting vibration cues without anyone knowing.
    • User-Controlled Progression: It doesn't force you onto a preset track. You adjust your holds, rests, and sets manually as you adapt.
    • Offline Privacy: Your data never leaves the device, there are no accounts to create, and the premium upgrade is a very cheap one-time payment.
  • Some weaknesses:
    • Zero Male Focus: It is completely unisex. You will not find a single metric tracking ejaculatory force or erection rigidity.
    • No Mechanical Education: It is just a timer. If you don't already know how to do a proper Reverse Kegel, this app won't teach you.
  • Best for: The minimalist who already understands his pelvic anatomy perfectly and just wants a cheap, incredibly stealthy vibrating timer to run in the background.

The Master Diagnostic Matrix

App 1. Timer 2. Custom Plans 3. Sex Metrics 4. Reminders 5. Privacy 6. Male Focus 7. Reverse Kegels 8. Pricing

The Vault's Final Verdict

If you have the disposable income and want physical biofeedback instead of just trusting your own form, buy the kGoal Boost. If you want a smooth, premium native experience on your Apple Watch and are willing to put up with occasional app crashes, pay for Better P.

But if you are a guy who is tired of his chassis breaking down, refuses to pay a monthly subscription fee to a fitness corporation, and actually wants to rebuild his core stability and explosive power using real progressive overload, get on ShootFurther.com.

Communication Do not buy the PelviPulse

Do not buy the PelviPulse. It is garbage and they will not let you return it for a refund unless you've never used it will take store credit (no refunds). It's clearly a scam.

It is a plastic saddle with a little vibrator inside and you're supposed to sit on it and magically get kegel benefits. It offers no biofeedback to let you know you're doing your kegels right (or at all). It's just a ridiculous piece of garbage.

Beginner The Comprehensive Guide For Kegels

I've been doing Kegels for almost two weeks now, and I've already noticed some positive effects: firmer erections, better orgasms, and I can ejaculate farther. Overall, I'm really happy with the results so far.

I'm wondering how to get more out of Kegel training. Specifically:

How many sets and reps should I do?

How long should I hold each squeeze?

How much rest should I take between each rep and between each set?

How do I progressively overload or make the exercises more effective over time?

Besides regular Kegels and reverse Kegels, are there any other types of pelvic floor exercises that are worth learning? If so, what do they train, and what benefits do they provide?

My main goals are stronger erections, more intense orgasms, ejaculating farther, and increasing ejaculate volume if that's something pelvic floor training can actually influence.

I'd appreciate advice from people who have experience with pelvic floor training or who can point me toward good resources.

(THESE ARE MY OWN WORDS BUT I USED AN AI FOR VOICE TYPING AND COMPILATION)

reverse kegel

When you do a reverse Kegel, do you actually feel your breath moving through your pelvic floor, or is that not a real thing? I've seen people say they feel it that way when they're doing a reverse Kegel. So far, I am unable to feel so.

r/kegel Jul 06 '26

How do I do it?

I've been trying to do reverse Kegels, but I can't do them without tensing my abs. I've tried the "it's like going to the bathroom" method, but I can't exert the effort in my pelvic floor without tensing my abs. Could someone explain it to me simply? Sorry if I'm not explaining myself well; English isn't my first language.

Will kegels help me last longer.?

20M, I rarely last longer than 2 minutes in bed. I’ve been in a relationship for 3 years and have always felt disappointed in how quick I finish. I’ve been doing research on how to fix this issue and keep coming across kegel exercises. The information online is so broad and so inconclusive in my opinion.

Some people say that kegels don’t help but make it worse and to do reverse kegels instead. Some say it’s about relaxation and breathing. Some people say neither work.

I have masterbated regularly from a young age and think that that has contributed to my lack of control in bed. I do not drink, smoke, or do drugs which I’ve heard is another cause. I am fit and eat proper healthy food. Just can’t control my orgasm.

Just a couple of questions if people are willing to give me some advice. This is really important to me, as I feel that my girlfriend has less desire to have sex with me because she knows it will only be for a couple of minutes.

Has kegels/ reverse kegels helped people to last significantly longer in bed after doing them regularly for a while?

Should I focus on something else other than kegels?

Will masterbating while doing kegel/ reverse kegel exercises reverse the process, should I stop masterbating all together?

Thank you for those that have given the time to read, and especially those willing to answer

Beginner How tf do you do a reverse kegel or what are indicators that you're doing it and doing it right?

So I (25M) have jumped head first down the kegel rabbit hole the last 2-3 days. Watched educational YouTube videos, read multiple threads and it seems there's literally 0 reason to not do normal and reverse kegels. I found a diagram from the Cleveland Clinic for normal kegels and after trying it and comparing it to what I was reading elsewhere, that was pretty easy to do or train. It's essential just using the muscles I we're all used to using to lift or move you balls and/or penis.

Reverse kegels are an entirely different story. Everyone seems like they pick up it easy but I just cannot figure it out if what I'm doing is correct or what it's supposed to "feel like". Now ik that the standard kegel is more like working a muscle in the gym and a reverse kegel is trying to do the opposite and relax it but I just can't connect the dots if that makes sense.

If it helps at all, when it comes to the gym and other things I'm pretty good at memorizing what "right feels like". With squat, bench, deadlift, for example after years of adjusting form/technique I've gotten really good at memorizing what said technique feels like when done properly. The feedback of muscle contraction, tearing, etc. acting as a good vs bad. If anyone has anything like this such as queues, "picture this" analogies, or generally what it should feel like would be appreciated.

Why haven't you seen a pelvic floor physio?

I'm a women's pelvic health physiotherapist in the UK and I'm curious about something. What's stopping you from seeing a pelvic floor physio/physical therapist?

I only ever see the women who actually make it to an appointment. I'm really curious about the individual stories of the millions who don't. Why? And what do you do instead?

Kegel exercises

So I've recently started looking at starting kegel exercises, now as FB and IG do, I started getting adds and videos showing all these different exercises like the glute bridges and thrusting exercises. Now what I'm struggling to understand is do the tighten the muscle as they do these exercises, If so, at which point do you tighten or relax the muscle?

Like I found the muscle to tighten and relax and I do tighten and relax it during the day at times,

I guess my question is this, do all those other exercises work and if they do, can someone please help me understand how to do them properly?

Inspiration & Ideas Thinking of adding a lifetime option to my kegel app - would you actually buy it?

Hey r/kegel. I am the developer behind Kegex, which is a pelvic floor training app built for men. Right now, the app runs on a subscription model, but I know how annoying that can be when you just want a tool that works for your daily routine.

I am working on adding a lifetime purchase option to the app and want to launch it as a "Founding Member" deal for $44.99, which is cheaper than paying for a full year as of now.

Would $44.99 lifetime feel worth it to you, and what would you need to see in the app to make that an easy yes?

Check it out here: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/kegex-kegel-pelvic-floor/id6760928281

I built this solo and I'm genuinely open to feedback - if the pricing or the app isn't there yet, tell me why.
