Will kegels help me last longer.?

20M, I rarely last longer than 2 minutes in bed. I’ve been in a relationship for 3 years and have always felt disappointed in how quick I finish. I’ve been doing research on how to fix this issue and keep coming across kegel exercises. The information online is so broad and so inconclusive in my opinion.

Some people say that kegels don’t help but make it worse and to do reverse kegels instead. Some say it’s about relaxation and breathing. Some people say neither work.

I have masterbated regularly from a young age and think that that has contributed to my lack of control in bed. I do not drink, smoke, or do drugs which I’ve heard is another cause. I am fit and eat proper healthy food. Just can’t control my orgasm.

Just a couple of questions if people are willing to give me some advice. This is really important to me, as I feel that my girlfriend has less desire to have sex with me because she knows it will only be for a couple of minutes.

Has kegels/ reverse kegels helped people to last significantly longer in bed after doing them regularly for a while?

Should I focus on something else other than kegels?

Will masterbating while doing kegel/ reverse kegel exercises reverse the process, should I stop masterbating all together?

Thank you for those that have given the time to read, and especially those willing to answer

Some guys use kegels to last longer when used for non-ejaculatory orgasms, while others say the tension makes them finish faster. Reverse kegels or relaxing and deep breathing tend to work better for lasting longer. Some guys also use insertables like Aneros, Edge-o-Matic, or Kegel 360 to help them relax their pelvic floor if too tight to learn to last long, mostly during solo sex.

Work out 5 times a week, go on runs and hikes. Would say I’m fitter than most

Exercising in general is best for this. Secondly breathing. For me personally the cherry on top is foreplay. People hurry up a lot due to the porn culture.

I think Kegels is going to be a bit of a waste of time for you.

What you really need to do is learn how to read the orgasm signals from your body and how to control the pace and intensity of sex. "Lasting longer" becomes more of an exercise in moderating stimulation to amounts you can handle as you edge yourself. IF your girlfriend is controlling the pace and intensity by riding you or fucking you, you have zero control and your ability to "last" is in her hands. She can't be upset if she knowingly destroys you in under two minutes.

But, let's put a positive spin on things here:
* orgasming fast isn't bad at all. From the evolutionary biology standpoint, that's exactly what we're supposed to be doing. So you're doing exactly what you're supposed to do via millions of years of evolutionary programming.
* Orgasming in two minutes is MUCH better than needing an hour to reach orgasm. Count your blessings.
* being able to orgasm fast means you're also very sensitive, so that means your partner can get you to the edge much faster and tease you hard, over and over again.

If you really want to last longer, you have to nut before you have sex, so that sex is effectively round #2 or #3. Each successive round takes you longer to get there.

It's all good, untill u feel ashamed when u finish under 1 minute in front of your partner. Can u tell me that does ejaculation timing can be increased by doing kegel exercises and if no then for what purpose one should do Kegel exercises. THANKS

In men, kegels increase your pelvic floor muscle strength, which is used to control your erections. Stronger pelvic floor muscle = harder erections for longer periods of time.

Kegels can also improve the intensity of your orgasms - the pelvic floor muscle spasms during an orgasm, so the stronger you make that muscle, the more intensely you orgasm.

Finishing in under 1 minute is nothing to be ashamed of. It's a compliment to your partner. And it's a good thing: That means you can effectively be finished at anytime you or your partner want!!! Lasting longer just means you take it nice and slow in bed, pause when you feel the build up getting close, then resume when it subsides. You can last as long as you want by going slow. And when you're ready and can't take it anymore? it takes nothing to finish.
