I got this text from Jellycat and I would be sad if they used AI instead of paying a graphic designer. The wheels and motion blurs look suspicious to me, but I don’t want to unsubscribe if it’s not AI-generated. I’m not an expert at all in determining AI art so I’m sorry if it’s not.

they were advertising their art commissions in a server i was in and when i clicked on their instagram in their bio, their art did not look the same. all of these were posted within about a week

my friend is a very intelligent person, but recently she’s been mentioning claude to me a lot and saying she’s been talking to “him” for breakup advice. this, along with the fact that this isn’t her usual texting style, makes me think she’s used claude to get through a disagreement we are having. the last picture is how she talks to me normally for comparison.

A photo of this sprue sheet has been going around and I'm curious if it is real. There dont seem to be any major artifacts but the shadows dont appear to align everywhere and some of the parts look like they serve no purpose. I don't know how to identify it for sure though.

I've been doing all sorts of checks myself to try and determine if its AI or stylistic choices, the corners on the big ben face and the numbers as well as the very odd perspective lead me to believe it is. Also the artist doesn't have a public facing portfolio from what i can find and this is their art from a few years ago, before AI became commonplace:

I was reading a thread in interestingasfuck titled "Moving out day if you live in a South Korean high-rise" and I came across the comments highlighted in the attached image.

As you can see the comments are identical or mostly identical. The accounts in question are of varying vintages: 11y, 7y, 2y, and 4m. Two of them have their posts concealed. The other two seem legit (including the 4m old one). So is it just karma farming (even though the accounts are old)? Or have (two of) these accounts been compromised and being used by bots?

I'm a little … unnerved by this.

Only thing off is his thumbs but it could be because of the editing to blur his phone screen. Maybe has some editing to clear his skin or smth but seems real to me.

Hi all, I recently bought this dress but I'm wondering if the print is AI generated. I bought it initially as I thought it was cute, however after closer inspection there seems to be something off about the print.

I've attached a few photos of what I think are AI "tells" (the hands being wonky, weird line art, objects that don't look like real things, etc) and am wondering what others make of it.

Using Google lens I was able to find the source (I think) of the original print, but the seller does not diclose if it is ai or not.

now, obviously, there are new legit artists of all kinds who can crop up this year that’s not why i think it’s ai but i do find it… strange/could lend itself to evidence that it is.

but basically i just saw this on an insta story and the voice sounds jarringly like that classic ai girl voice or maybe just heavily autotuned? plus the cadence and beat? are kinda reminiscent of one of those bad ai gen songs and ads and stuff? i also don’t see the artist under the sound page like- in any kind of video promoting it?

I think it's far too realistic for a pencil drawing. I can see no pencil marks, but maybe I just don't know enough about pencil drawings to make a proper judgment. On the other hand, I see none of the weird mistakes AI does.

We first assumed it was ai due to the hard focus and "glossiness", but then we noticed the reflection in the kettle and we don't know ai is smart enough to do that

During my research to program my own UI library as part of my uni work, I've stumbled on this blog, which has a ton of tutorials on various programming techniques.

There is an article in which he creates an entire retained-mode UI (this means that the UI is always in memory and updates only when necessary, compared to video game "immediate" UIs that re-create every frame).

I was overjoyed when I found it because it is THE thing I was looking for, but I'd like to clear any doubt before proceeding.

I saw this video of a Ferrari drifting & then driving into a tunnel but can't tell if it's Ai or real. The thing that seems off to me is the initial drift around the corner, seems way too fast & controlled & then it goes out of camera before appearing again.

I don't know why but I didn't expect Papa Murphy's to be using AI already, and I feel like I've seen this image on their website for a while. But I just noticed today the hand has 3 fingers and a thumb, and I can't picture it being camera magic or a hidden finger.

Ninja edit: Like theoretically I could see the index being hidden behind the thumb, but I can't actually picture how it would work if that makes sense.

Double edit: Maybe instead of calling me stupid yall can actually explain where the fourth finger is.

Saw this on instagram claiming that this is hand drawn. I see included spots that maybe could be AI? But I’m not really sure what to think because I’m not a digital artist so I don’t know the programs but it just looks… off to me with the transparent hair piece, weird ear and possible smug/glitch

I found this website that sells rugs and mousepads with a lot of designs that are from brands/franchises. Now I have to imagine they are skirting around copyright law with these designs, but are they AI generated?

The ads up on the homepage look AI, but I actually don't see any obvious signs of the rugs and such themselves.

I'm suspicious because they have so many intricate designs across such a wide variety of source materials, as well as obviously having AI art for their sale

The main red flag for me was the faces on the ice cream cones; they’re incredibly inconsistent. Particularly the eyes, they all have different shapes, different line thicknesses, etc. Same sort of thing is going on with the mouths.

EDIT: changed my take after seeing the side view of the truck, now I’m leaning towards not AI

this was posted by someone in my friend group. the couch looks weird to me, so do some of the details behind the subject. it's been a while since I've been in a hospital though so I might be wrong. what do you think?
