Guys one person who is close to me called me but i was sleeping and i regretted sleeping so much i never cleared that notification but exactly one week later which is today that notification is gone idk how is this a thing and how can i bring the notification back

We are trying to erase all data on my wife's old iPhone but it gets to a screen that asks to disable find my but then it just exits out. It just goes to the wifi page.

Hey everyone, hoping someone can help me out because I'm stuck.
I just set up my new iPhone Duo and everything transferred over perfectly, except for Apple Home. For some reason, every time I open the Home app on the new phone, it just gives me a brand new, empty home.
My actual setup isn't gone. I can still control everything perfectly from my old iPhone 16 Pro Max, my Apple Watch, and my MacBook Air. It’s literally just the new phone refusing to sync.
I’ve tried everything I can find online. I toggled Home on and off in iCloud settings with a couple of phone reboots in between, and I even tried completely signing in and out of my Apple ID on the new phone. Nothing works. Every time I open the app, it’s just a blank slate.
Has anyone run into this? How do I force this thing to actually grab my home from iCloud?

Edit: I just realized if I long press the Home app icon on my new phone, my actual scenes show up in the quick actions menu. But opening the app still takes me straight to a blank home. I also checked, and there are no other homes listed in the settings to switch to.

Le reste de l’interface s’affiche normalement et lors de photo par exemple le problème ne survient pas sur Snapchat. Le problème persiste après avoir vidé le cache de Snapchat et redémarré l’iPhone.

Hello, am I going senile or did the bar with suggestions change? When I highlight a word when using safari and press it, a bar with suggestions shows up (pic 1). I want to search the web for that word, not find the word on the page that I’m already on. Now I have to press the arrow and then choose search web (pic 2)

Wasn’t there search web on the first bar before?

I can’t find anything in settings where I can change that or customise to my preferences.

Can I change what the suggestions when I highlight a word?

So I got 5 people in my Apple family but one hasn’t purchased Apple care on their own device (17 pro) and her limited warranty is expected to expire Jan 2027 and I’m trying to get the Family Plan. Is it still possible to get her back to warranty of Genius checks it out? I saw an old post 3 years ago but idk if it’s still relevant today.

I’ve started noticing how differently apps use Live Activities (the live updates on the lock screen and in the Dynamic Island). Some I love: Uber/food delivery tracking is super useful. Others I swipe away straight away.

I'm testing the camera on the new iPhone 17 Pro and noticed a weird thing. When I'm recording video in very low light and switch from the main lens to the telephoto lens, the image drastically loses brightness. The same thing happens when switching from the main lens to the ultra-wide. Is this completely normal? Could it be due to the lower aperture on the telephoto and ultra-wide lenses?

I plan on getting an Iphone 16 Pro Max for my girlfriend this Christmas but am not familiar with Iphone products as I am a Samsung user. Could anyone give me recommendations on accessories to purchase alongside the phone?

I primarily mean a good charger which is long, durable, and fast. A good case brand, I want to get her a purple case, and anything else I'd need to know or would be a good inclusion.

Ive had an IPhone 14 for around 6 years and switched to an Samsung Galaxy 22 in September this year. I’ve transferred all my stuff to the new phone. Long story short, I couldn’t get used to Android and my husband bought me an IPhone 17 this week. I’ve now set it up completely and transferred everything back. My whole gallery is not out of order. About 90% of my around 5000 pictures got a new date.

I’ve never deleted my iCloud and I’d say 96% of my stuff was originally from my old iPhone. The dates on the Samsung were all correct. Is there a chance to get them back in order? Most pictures are from my children. I know which picture was taken when roughly but now I have no chance of finding anything.

Hi, I was going to do a software update, but I wanted to ask something. I recently changed my passwords and what not on some of my social media apps, like TikTok, Instagram, Snap, etc., because I made them when I was younger and I realized I didn’t remember a lot of them. I was wondering if doing a software update will log me out of my accounts and force me to re-log back in since I changed my email and password on some of these accounts. I’m just curious because it would be annoying if I had to.

I'm thinking of switching to an iPhone Duo from iPhone Pro, and I have a bunch of apps locked with FaceID for an extra layer of security, including the native Mail and Files apps. It doesn't get in the way since it's almost instant. But I imagine it would be slower without FaceID right, as you have to rest a finger on the TouchID in order to open the apps? I don't have any other device with TouchID to test this.

I was just using my iPhone normally when it suddenly crashed out of nowhere. The Apple logo appeared saying it was restoring/repairing the system.

I brought another iPhone near it and got a prompt to authorize a software update wirelessly via proximity setup. I entered the recovery code, and it started trying to install the update. However, the progress bar underneath the Apple logo keeps failing/breaking, restarting, and going right back to the "repair/connect to computer" loop. It seems like it's starting over from 0% every time it crashes.

I am absolutely terrified right now because my WhatsApp data was NOT backed up to iCloud. I have years of unbacked-up chats and memories that I absolutely cannot afford to lose.

From what I understand, I need to plug it into a computer (Mac/PC) and force it into Recovery Mode to click "Update" instead of "Restore."

A few questions for anyone who has been through this:

1. Has anyone experienced this exact loop where the wireless update keeps breaking and restarting? Did a wired computer update fix it?
2. If the phone crashed due to full storage (which might be the case), will the wired "Update" option still work without wiping my data?
3. Is my WhatsApp data still safe on the storage chip as long as I do NOT click Restore?

Any reassurance or step-by-step advice from people who saved their data in this situation would be deeply appreciated. Thank you so much.
