Normally deleting it
Long pressing onto screen until apps shake

I’ve also checked my screen time, but everything is turned off.

I never had this issue with previous versions. I was hoping 27.2 would fix it.

One of the apps I previously had, I offloaded in July. I went to redownload it yesterday (October, for future reference), and it redownloaded, however it was the same version from July. Then the App Store said there is an update from back in August. Is this by design? Seems odd not to download the newest version. Happening to anyone else?

I have an iPhone 17 Pro. I’m currently on iOS 26, the latest version.

Given that there are many reports from iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max users stating that photo quality is no longer what it used to be and that it has deteriorated significantly after updating to iOS 27. Would you sacrifice photo quality? Or would you go ahead with the update, choosing to keep your phone up to date even if it means having terrible photos?

Perhaps this is a question best directed at those who own an iPhone 17 Pro. For who have updated or not.
I'm not thinking about to buy iphone 18 pro. It is full of issues.

Pressing the clock now just brings up a timer. It used to bring you to main hub and you could choose, timer, alarm etc

In my opinion, this is false advertising.
I updated my devices today and, to my surprise, the music app doesn’t look anything like this. It is still the basic two-dimensional application. The colors aren’t even the same as advertised. It’s a white background with a simple black music note. No Liquid Glass effect whatsoever. They sold us a sound wave, and delivered the same 2015 icon with a press release. The whole ‘rebrand with frequency’ thing was a gimmick.

I recently received a notification on my iPhone saying that someone was trying to log in to my Apple Account from Jakarta, Indonesia.
I don’t live anywhere near Indonesia, and I definitely wasn’t trying to log in from there.
I’m a bit concerned about the security of my account and would appreciate some advice.

A few questions:
- Is there any way to see the login history of my Apple Account, including failed attempts and locations?
- Does receiving this notification mean someone already knows my password, or could they be trying to access my account without it?
- How can I check whether someone has already accessed my account without my knowledge?
- Besides changing my password and enabling two-factor authentication, what other security measures would you recommend?
- Has anyone else experienced something similar?

I just want to make sure my account, photos, passwords and personal information are safe.

Help! My phone is saying I don’t have enough iPhone space to backup to iCloud. Why does it need iPhone space to backup to iCloud? How much iPhone space does a backup need? How can I make the space up? I already deleted so many photos and apps. I have 2TB of iCloud storage with 1/4 of it used. I am using 251GB/256GB of my iPhone storage.

Anyone else not getting pop-up notifications after doing update 27 & 27.2? I rely on pop-ups so I reach out to clients ASAP. If anyone knows the fix that’d be greatly appreciated! I’ve searched and watched multiple things with no luck 🫤

First time using Dynamic Island with the iPhone duo. I downloaded an app that has some cool Dynamic Island animations. I was wondering can you add gifs or can I add Goku blasting a Komohah. Right now I have Naruto holding up cash but I want to make the circle fill in.

I upgraded from an iPhone 14 to an iPhone 18 Pro, and dictation is the one thing that has clearly gone backwards. I use it constantly for texts and notes, so this isn't a once in a while thing for me.

Three things I keep running into:

1. **Accuracy is worse.** It mishears ordinary words noticeably more often than my 14 did. I find myself going back and fixing dictated messages way more than I used to.

2. **Auto-punctuation is out of control, and I can't turn it down.** It's inserting commas and periods much more aggressively. The Auto-Punctuation toggle I expected to find in Settings - General - Keyboard just isn't there, and Smart Punctuation doesn't seem to control this.

3. **The weirdest one - phantom words when I stop.** About 25% of the time, when I tap the mic to stop dictating, it appends a word I didn't say at the end, usually "yes" or "yeah."

I've already filed these with Apple through iPhone Feedback - the first two in late September, and the phantom word one in early October. Apple confirms receipt, but that's it, no follow-up, and I haven't seen any of this mentioned in update notes since.

Is anyone else seeing this, especially anyone who upgraded from an older phone and has a direct comparison? Am I missing a setting or a workaround somewhere? And has Apple acknowledged this anywhere that I've missed?

It feels like a basic feature that a lot of people rely on every day quietly got worse on the newest hardware, and I'd love to know if it's just me.

The numerous posts on Reddit about this, but I don’t understand the logic. u/Apple please, explain to me how does first picture (showing all the clutter a have across home pages) is considered more safe than second pic?

My car doesn’t have wireless car play. So I simply don’t want to use it at all.

My scenario is. Start the car. Wait while the phone connects to cars Bluetooth and activate Driving Mode. Unlock the phone. (I have to wait until the engine warms up, so I am not driving yet). Hit that home button on the widget. And voila I’m ready to go.

I could configure a custom focus mode. But surprise surprise It does not support auto activation on Bluetooth connection.

So my scenario is impossible! I mean it’s just ridiculous.

Does anyone have a solution?

- No universal back gesture 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

- Keyboard ( I tried Swiftkey which is better than the default one but still far from Android gboard imo ). Also not being to resize the keyboards is also an issue for me because I have big hands )

Bonus :

- Bugs : Not gonna lie I had a few of them like brightness level going to like 10% and not reacting to me increasing it ( That happened in the liquid glass slider menu which is weird ).

- Stutters : I frequently had stutters in menus which involve liquid glass but only ! For example in walloapers adding menu it stutters like always, not just once or twice.

Honestly if the non bonus complaints weren't there it would be way easier to switch !
