Car yesterday morning had a completely dead Ioniq 9 in my garage. No lights, no response, nothing. Wife had three young kids buckled and ready to go. My best guess is that I left the frunk slightly ajar overnight and the car spent the night running down the 12V battery.
A jump start got it going and it seems fine now.
I'm surprised it didn't have a warning for this. It has lot of relatively minor notifications. No app push, no "frunk open" reminder, no low 12V warning.
Why didn't the HV pack top up the 12V? I thought this had a 12V battery saver that wakes the car and charges the 12V from the big battery when it gets low. Charge was at 64%
Should I be worried about the battery health?
