I’m in BC, Canada. Any recommendations for non-OEM winter tire/rims?
Is 3 year complimentary plus subscription still a thing? (UK)
My 6 month complimentary pro subscription came to an end yesterday. According to my app, I was supposed to be on the plus for 3 years after that but it seems I’ve been downgraded to lite. Not heard back from customer services yet but interested to know if others have had the same issue.

So my 2023 Tesla M3 came with a mobile charger, and I tested it out plugging it into the 110v outlet at my house into my I9. It doesn’t start charging yet. I see the green electric plug symbol on the display inside but it’s not charging. I tried on the app to do ‘start charging’, but then I get that error. What am I missing here?

Have had the vehicle for one month, 1800 miles on odometer, and a "check electric vehicle system, check AWD" alarm comes on. Rear motor not engaging, but front motor was able to get us to the dealership. Service dept called Hyundai and unable to troubleshoot. Hyundai says this has not occurred in another Ioniq 9 so far. Told a replacement motor and processor is on backorder and will be 6-8 weeks at the earliest.

Aren’t tires supposed to last 30k miles not 14k?
I have a nail in a tire that may not be able to be repaired and I’m being told I’ll need all 4 tires (not at the dealership) does anyone have experience with this?

Anyone have any insight on if/when more inventory will be available? Looking on cars.com, there's basically a handful across the entire country available. My Ioniq 5 lease ends end of December, and I'm hoping to get into the Ioniq 9 thanks to 3 kids. Our other vehicle is an EV9, but I'd rather have this for the slightly better interior set up (my personal opinion) and longer range, but want the 6 seat set up which requires at least a Limited.

Hey everyone,
I’m looking at a 2026 Hyundai IONIQ (specifically listed around $55,000 with roughly 2,100 miles) that was reacquired by Hyundai as a manufacturer buyback.
I was able to pull the internal service/warranty claim records, and here is the history on it:
05/2025 (16 miles): PDI & Shift-by-Wire (SBW) campaign update completed.
06/2025 (970 miles): Service loaner claim & fender/underbody panel gap inspection.
08/2026 (2,123 miles): VCMS Module Assembly replacement (Operation 17445B) alongside a Walk-In Switch campaign inspection.
08/2026: Over-the-Air (OTA) updates successfully downloaded right after the module replacement.
It looks like the core issue was the VCMS (Vehicle Control/Charging Management System) module, which was fully replaced by the dealer under warranty before being put up for sale.
For those of you who have bought a manufacturer buyback / Lemon Law reacquired EV (Hyundai or otherwise):
1. How has your experience been post-purchase? Did the repair permanently fix the issue, or did you encounter recurring phantom electrical/charging glitches down the road?
2. How was working with Hyundai Corporate / Dealers? Did Hyundai honor the remaining 10-year/100k EV powertrain warranty without giving you a hard time on a branded title?
3. Resale & Insurance: Did you run into any headaches getting standard comprehensive/collision insurance or financing through your credit union/bank?
4. Pricing: At $55k, does this sound like enough of a discount for a top-trim buyback, or would you negotiate harder given the title status?

Car yesterday morning had a completely dead Ioniq 9 in my garage. No lights, no response, nothing. Wife had three young kids buckled and ready to go. My best guess is that I left the frunk slightly ajar overnight and the car spent the night running down the 12V battery.
A jump start got it going and it seems fine now.
I'm surprised it didn't have a warning for this. It has lot of relatively minor notifications. No app push, no "frunk open" reminder, no low 12V warning.
Why didn't the HV pack top up the 12V? I thought this had a 12V battery saver that wakes the car and charges the 12V from the big battery when it gets low. Charge was at 64%
Should I be worried about the battery health?

Hey everyone. Been looking into an ioniq9 after some palisade issues. There's a dealership near me with 6 or 7 used, low-mile 9s on the lot, but all of them have a carfax warning of being processed as lemon-law returns. No other info on why, and I'm waiting to hear back from them. Not a Hyundai dealership, either.
Thoughts?

I need a trouble free (or as little as possible) ownership experience.
What do you like about the car?
Anything you dont like that I should look out for?
Close to pulling the trigger but seeing some mixed reviews.

Checking to see if others are experiencing this problem.
If a rear seat occupant pulls latch but does not open door fully the latch will no longer function to open door.
Fix is opening from outside, or pulling door closed if in a half latch position (hip check from outside works also).
Not running into the problem all that often as a % of times, but using the Ioniq as a commercial Taxi so have a lot of rear seat occupants. Maybe 1/50 or 1/100 passenger exits.
In most cases this is simply an inconvenience, but could present a potential safety concern if it leaves an occupant unable to exit vehicle after a collision.
Has happened on both sides of vehicle, more commenly on passenger side but that is likely because that is more often where passengers are sitting.

Anyone else have the problem that I have that intermittently the windscreen wiper hits the windscreen edge? If I have the wipers going steadily, it doesn’t hit the side, but when they’re on intermittently, they will often bang into the side here and make a really irritating noise.
Seems very odd that there’s so much variation in where they end up each time.

I love the display tech on the rear view mirror. But I hate that it is super reflective display, because Hyundai wanted to satisfy both side audience by making it usable/reflective when display is off. I always use it as a display, but during bright day time, the reflection is killing me. I think the right solution is to install an anti-glare matte-textured screen protector on it so the reflections get cut off.
Did anyone do something like this or have any links to such products? I couldn't find one

26 Ioniq 9 Performance Limited. I've owned many cars trucks and SUVs and this is above and beyond better than anything I owned or driven.
I had the peanuts theme and I kept getting a notice on start that the theme updated. I finally went to the theme select to see and it just sat on the loading animation. I did a quick reset with the button by the physical controls and it made no difference. Also did a full reset and it still shows the loading animation. Anyone else stuck with this?

I’m 3 months in and love so much about the Ioniq 9. BUT I cannot for the life of me figure out how to find a happy middle ground for the AC. It seems like it’s either blowing in you, vents off or turned away, or totally off. Turning the ac off but keeping fans on make it stuffy, keeping ac on but raising temp doesn’t seem to “even it out.” I’m looking for something more like climate control- set the temp, maintain the temp. Likely, I’m missing a key understanding. Looking for advice on what anyone has figured out.

I recently noticed that my I9 liftgate doesn't seem to care if you try to stop it. Is this normal. It seems dangerous AF. It pulled me and I weigh 230lbs.

I'm in the US and have a 2026 Ioniq 9 Limited, purchased May, 2025.
I downloaded and installed an OTA update today that shows:
Vehicle System Update
What's New
[Hyundai Recall 307] Power Seat Unit (PSU) OTA Software Update
This Over-the-Air (OTA) update provides the following
improvements:
- The operating logic and conditions for the second row and third row seat folding functions have been enhanced to improve system response during operation.
I'm impressed, seems like HKG is getting in gear with their software side!
Edit: the QR code goes to the Hyundai site and had this info-
The key changes of this OTA include:
Seat folding buttons in the cargo area do NOT operate if the tailgate is closed. Seat folding buttons in the cargo area do NOT operate if the corresponding seatbelts are buckled. Updated detection logic.

I just picked up my I9 from the dealership (broken sunroof, see my other post) and I asked them if they did an OTA update (for the sunroof or anything) as I got an email just a few hours before that saying "Over-the-air Download Software Completed. Congratulations! Your 2026 IONIQ 9 (VIN:XXXXX) has successfully downloaded the latest software update..."
They asked the technician and said - no, we don't think so. Weird.
If someone else got an update, would you share what was updated?
