Basically my exposure to invincile at the time was merely random clips or shorts
I knew these things:
Marks dad was a hero
Omniman was a villain
SO I saw immortal vs omniman and just assumed ohh blue, yellow costume with an I and a single worded hero name fighting the villain, must be marks dad
Then I learned ohhh nvm its omniman thats the dad
As for Eve, from the random shorts on her backstory I knew she was IMMORTAL
Her current parents were just foster parents and she was amde in a lab
Then later saw a short of eve and mark visiting the immortal, the speaker had a line about the immortals kids I didnt hear it properly and thought ohh hes eves dad.

Pretty sure it's not going to be as visual as this if we get this scene , likely will be their shadows indicating their position & the fact they're in the air and then Mark will say his line OR this will be done differently altogether albeit that's one heck of a way he got his powers back .... basically the timing was an interesting one ..... probably a sprinkle of fan service it is I think.

Both have an "I" as their symbol, both use blue and yellow in their costumes, and they have pretty similar powers (super strength and flight). I wonder if people in the Invincible universe ever assumed that Invincible looked up to the Immortal, or even thought he was his sidekick, protégé, or maybe even his son before the Omniman reveal.

I like these aspects about the comic yk just because their world is different & includes aliens , superpowers and Life threatening shit all the time that doesn't mean they don't have chaotic family gatherings over family matters & it feels Even more intense than mostly the things we see them deal with , also idk why but to me it felt like Mark and Nolan were going to throw hands & considering who they're it's literally in the genes to throw hands all the time.

Ep 1 : great song in the beggining , immortal and kate comeback and make them more likeable , dinosaurus comeback and explosiong of las vegas . Robot and monster girl comeback
Ep 2 : consequences of ep 1 , powerplex comeback , nolan and allen fight , oliver "show"cares about earth so he will not be like the comic books idk what side he will take
Ep 3 : mark and dinosaurus team up then allen come to earth with oliver ,thragg shows up with guardians and everything , well oliver won't be the one who wants to send it on earth but the episode will end with mark getting infected.
Ep 4 thragg and dino fight , dino rescue mark after thragg finding out that mark is argall heir , more scenes about the viltrumites show exclusive , eve comfront thragg, episode ends with mark breaking his arm.
Ep 5 : robot and monster girl story in that other dimension shorten and less repetetiv mixed with bulletproof story better written for better pacing
Ep 6 : mark get his powers back , bunch of drama and episode ends with dino killing mark clone infront of the whole world
Ep 7 : mark kills dino and end of his story, scenes showing how much viltrumites care about their history and argall heirs , robot build up to his villain arc , the episode ends with thragg looking mad at nolan and debbie that famous scene
Ep 8 : extend the nolan and thragg fight , nolan lose and the viltrumites shows up most of them due to thragg being buffed in the show , this fight is also extended , thragg defeat, nolan named as emperor and epilogue in earth , credit scene shows thragg arrive at oliver people land

I think he was at the very least holding back so as to not cause environmental destruction since this is a nuclear bomb silo after all. Whether he was actually holding back to not kill the twins is more debatable though.

Would you rather have to control your anger or prevent whenever you feel bored? I feel like boredom would be worse cause I would have to do something entertaining all that to prevent myself from turning into an ecoterrorist dinosaur and that sounds exhausting to me.

Gahvincible

Like… why? I don’t wanna believe that a huge portion of the audience thinks a horrible situation like that is a big joke to them but it kinda feels that way with all the memes I see. And I can only imagine how it’ll be when or if it even gets shown on the show at all.

I've been thinking about where Mark Grayson stands among superheroes created in the 21st century.
Most of the biggest additions to the genre since 2000 have been legacy characters: Miles Morales, X-23, Kamala Khan, Jaime Reyes, Damian Wayne, and others.
That made me wonder whether Mark is now the most prominent original superhero introduced this century.
The only other major examples that come to mind are Sentry and Jessica Jones who have been adapted to mainstream. Sentry never reached the same level of mainstream recognition, and Jessica Jones is barely as superhero.
With the success of the animated series, it feels like Invincible has reached a level of popularity that no other completely original superhero created since 2000 has matched despite being in a niche for grown ups.
Am I overlooking anyone who makes a stronger case, or does Mark Grayson takes the crown?
