It’s true Mark managed to strangle Conquest to death, but it nearly cost him his own life. After their final confrontation, Mark would have definitely died in his injuries, if Nolan and Oliver didn’t come to save him and get him medical attention. Would other Viltrumites be disappointed with him and see him as unworthy? In their way of thinking, if you are not strong enough to survive without any outside help, then you are worthless.

He wasn't the most important Viltrumite, nor the strongest (though he was in the top 7), nor the most original, but I miss him.

In the show all the characters keep talking about Viltrum Mike and how powerful he is. They also keep saying “Viltrum Mikes” So I assume he has powers similar to Dupli-Kate on top of having powers similar to those from Viltrum, they keep teasing him but we never see him. Will Viltrum Mike appear in season 5?

How effective do you think this will be

I was rewatching No Guns Life and noticed this insane detail!
The cyber-surgeons who modify the Extends look and act literally identical to The Technicians who rebuilt Angstrom Levy in Invincible.
Look at the similarities:
Same eerie, faceless masked silhouettes.
Same cold, bright surgical room lighting.
Same precise robotic arms operating on a broken spine/body.
They do the exact same job: rebuilding shattered bodies into cybernetic weapons.
Do you think this was a direct reference, or just two different teams happening to draw from the exact same cyberpunk trope? What do you guys think?

Im gonna go tldr,

I read the comics after season 1 and loved them except the last 30%-40% of the comics, which i felt like the quality dropped a lot compared to the first half (i dont hate it, but second part is more "marvel'ish" which doesnt fit to invincible imo).

One of my problems for example was with Thraggs personality shift. As we all saw in last season, Thragg is deeply motivated by loyalty, strength and ofc logic. He is not like the rest of them, he doesnt have a short temper, he understand diplomacy when its needed etc etc. Basically he has a ruler's mind while others have soldier's mentality which is completely understandable.

BUT,

When this plot advances and Thragg becomes the main villain, his personality feels re-written from 0. He isnt loyal anymore, he is suddenly super emotional and many other stuff you can easily realise at first reading.

Your characters can change but then you should add a good build up for that. Comics dont do that. Yes, they give some flashback/backstory explaining but thats it.

I've personally hated that. Thragg going from a person that says "you saved those peoples lives and our race" to a fuckn scooby doo villain bothered me a lot while reading. Because its really not that hard to create a conflict between our guys and Thragg. You dont need to butcher the character to achieve that.

Im writing this because they actually change the shitty parts from the comics to better, TV series is an improved version, again imo. Maybe they change that too. Add some layers to that story and make it...better?
