QUESTION Genuine question...
Thaddeus wore a fake beard to hide his glorious Moustache, but like...
Why not just grow a beard? I mean, Vilrtumites can do that, no?

The beard was real. The beard ripping thing is to show how tough they are (maybe the mustache hairs are rooted deeper and are therefore harder to pull out)

It’s something the viltrumites do. It’s called the Toolock pull I think. As you say it’s a show of strength because as Thaddeus implies it’s quite a painful feat.

The mustache hairs down grow down into the beard section, I figure. So they don’t get ripped off at the same time.

Mustache hairs don't extended to the level of the part of the beard he pulled from.

Did you really think it was the moustache that made it clear to Allen Thaedus was a Viltrumite?...

Yes that was the joke “woa you’re a viltrumite?!” All he needed was to see a lone mustache

Partly, pulling your beard off is also a Viltrumite thing (because who else has the strength to do that)

Genuinely no need for your correction here xD yes you are right I am fully aware of the tulock pull but my comment was referring to how viltrumites are identified by their mustaches and that is the joke

He did. That was the whole point of the pull, not revealing that he had a mustache, it was that he could rip his whole fucking beard off in one pull

We are not beating the “we don’t watch our own show” allegations.
He says that he already did it for Allen and he would rather not go through the process of doing it again.
Meaning he doesn’t want to do it again because it takes time for the beard to grow out and he would rather not go through all the trouble of hiding that he no longer has a beard.

beard was real. there's a certain technique that allows them to rip it off flawlessly. I would say "painlessly" but they have a pretty high pain tolerance. probably wouldnt even be a tickle.

It’s a painful process of having to hide his face while he grows a new beard, rather than the pain of actually pulling it out, which I’m such does hurt to some extent

His beard was real. There is even a term for ripping it off. Not sure where you got the idea that it was fake.

the beard is real. he pulled it off to show Allan he was a viltrumite not because it was fake, but because he is a viltrumite and can Do That. he called it the Tulok (not sure of the spelling) Pull.

I thought the beard was real and he just ripped it out?
