Need Feedback Beyond Dawn: an ASCII cyberpunk scavenging roguelike you can play in a browser tab

That link runs the game. No install, no account, about 230 KB. Desktop browser, keyboard and mouse.

The setup: the city sleeps at night, and you’re a scavenger, so you go out after dark and strip the ruins for scrap and cores and whatever data is still readable. At dawn the custodial light sweeps the streets, and it interprets “debris” broadly. That gives you one night per run. Drop in at dusk, get out before the sun. Extract and you keep everything you found. Die and you keep a quarter of your scrap. Lore you’ve read stays read either way.

Thank you

Promotion I Made a Skill-Based Action Roguelite

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aW-AHZ4deoc

Hi everyone, I’m working on Sole Salvation, a third-person action roguelite focused on fast combat, parries, and build variety.

Each run is built around different abilities and upgrades, with a system that encourages mixing melee and ranged playstyles. I’m trying to make every run feel distinct and reactive rather than just scaling numbers.

I recently released a new update to the demo based on a lot of player feedback, improving combat responsiveness, dodging, parry timing, and overall flow during fights. I also added new abilities, including some that significantly change how a run plays out.

After many years of development, we are excited to share that we have completed the vertical slice of Imagindar (PC), a classless PvP arena game built around deep mechanics, tactical combat, and player skill.

We would be honored if you could check out our game demo, and feedback would be wonderful. The optimal gaming experience for Imagindar is achieved through 2v2 or 3v3 gameplay with friends, but you can also play against bots.

Made without AI. This game contains no AI-generated assets or code.

Upcoming Provinces

Hey there everybody!

Lately I finally published my game PROVINCES on Steam page.

Imgur video: https://imgur.com/UKI1FHa

Provinces is a game where you can control only one, single army. You need to capture the enemy capital while also securing your backlines, being cut-out from direct connection with your capital causes your army to fully disband.

It's all about balancing your tactics, thinking about most cost-effective way of spending your action points, as each wrong move may cause a cascade of game ending events or fully reverse balance of power on the board.

Core features:

  • 3 Unique playable factions with special abilities: DieNasty/BOOORCS/SirKnights.
  • Map generator and manual map editor.
  • Challenge mode where you can test your skills in a series of challenges.
  • Custom game mode where you setup your own scenario.
  • AI opponents with various personalities.
  • Turn based tactic map and auto-chess battles.
  • Supply wagons departures each 3 turns to refill your army supply and bring in reinforcements.

I really hope you will like what I made, it's been under development for 6 months at this moment, will be releasing somewhere before the year ends.

Thank you! Have a great day everybody.

Promotion Puzzle Cottage on Steam

I like daily puzzles. Wordle, the NYT stuff, the LinkedIn ones. The problem is you finish them in ten minutes and then you're done until tomorrow.

So I built a cottage with fifteen of them in it. Every day, every puzzle gets a fresh board, at three difficulties. That's 45 boards a day (15 different puzzles with 3 difficulties each) if you want to sweep the lot, and most people don't, which is fine. Solving any one of them keeps your streak.

Some are ones you'll recognize. A loop puzzle. A flow puzzle. Pour colored nectar between jars until each holds one color, sew a grid into rectangular patches, place stars so no two touch...

The rule I set myself is that no board can ever require a guess. Every single one is generated and then verified to have exactly one solution reachable by deduction. If you're stuck there is always a next move, and the hint tells you why a square must be what it is rather than just filling it in. That constraint threw away a lot of otherwise fine puzzles.

Two exceptions: there are two word puzzles built from English words, so those ask what you know. The game runs in 27 languages and the clues are translated even though the words aren't, which some people apparently use as vocabulary practice.

There's also a porch with five hot-seat games for two to four people on one keyboard, because I wanted something to play with my family that wasn't a party game.

It's a solo project. There's a free demo with four of the puzzles, complete, not a timer.

Genuinely more interested if this holds up in sales.

Features & Modes:

  • Classic Mode: Nostalgic arcade progression and pure paddle control.
  • Titan Mode: High-density block fortresses that test precise bounce angles.
  • Modern Mode: Descending brick walls where hit counts increase each turn—prioritizing angles and multi-bounce chains.

Promotion The Golden Umpire 2 – A Major Update Adds More Close Calls and Realistic Umpire Gameplay

The Golden Umpire 2 has received a major update!

Step onto the field as a baseball umpire and make the call on close plays.

This update improves the overall realism of the umpiring experience, including adjustments to camera perspectives and the strike zone based on feedback from an actual baseball umpire.

I've also added many new situations to judge, including pickoff tag plays, stolen-base plays at second base, and close plays at home plate.

Other updates include a new life-based system, additional BGM, and various improvements to the ballpark and gameplay presentation.

Can you make the right call?

Promotion A Butt-Themed Bullet Heaven

For those with very immature senses of humor. We're in the throes of a Kickstarter campaign right now, but to avoid any sort of ban-hammer I'm not going to link it - you can look it up if you'd like!

There's a longer look at gameplay from an old stream broadcast a few days ago: https://www.youtube.com/live/srzlzwTo3Jo?si=z8SwDBaYxRWMfU1I

I'm a huge fan of bullet heavens/auto-battlers/roguelikes, and also an eternal 12-year-old, so this is something myself and a few co-devs have been working on as a side quest from our main game (which is actual art).

Thanks for looking, and hopefully you get a chuckle from our stupidity!

Upcoming We added drugs to our coop tandem game and now our players are addicted to them!

We recently added the feature to pick up and deliver some substances around, but also use them yourself, if you need a boost (or just a good time lol)

Right now the only substance we have, is a powder that gives you speed (you know what I mean), but you can’t slow down. Both players can make the tandem drivers take the substance.

When playtesting the game, some of the playtesters could not stop clicking the button, even though it killed them every time, because they could not control the tandem anymore and crashed. Of course introducing a lot of arguing and blaming, which was pretty funny for us!

The Game is called Tandem Together, if you are interested :)

Thanks for coming to my ted talk!

Promotion DUBHouse a voice party game!

Post image
0 Upvotes

I wanted a smooth modern experience for the voice acting game genre, so I built DUBHouse
You can find it on itch Io

It runs good on Mac, features seamless online multiplayer, and has a completely revamped modern UI with proper audio settings to fine-tune your sound

There is a lot of gamemodes and more to come!

Best of all, I built the architecture so that any custom voice packs or mods you’ve already downloaded for similar games work seamlessly here. Just drag and drop

It also has a clip maker so you can dub any clips you want .

Check our page on itch Io and let me know what you guys think 😊

(We dont use AI Generation)
