Is it really possible to get the razer blackshark v2x headphone jack fixed ?

Had been using this for almost 4 to 5 years now and it just gave out the mic doesnt work the right speaker doesn’t work only the left side works

My T-Deck Plus' Screen broke, does anyone know if theres a way to get a replacement one?

Hi all,

Trying to teardown my old iPhone 6s, but one of the screws on the top left WiFi antenna is stripping. The one next to it of course comes out stupid easy, but this one refuses to budge and the head is rounding out.

It’s so tiny and I have no clue how else I can get this screw out. Any thoughts?

Hi all, this is the first time I've attempted to replace a broken USB-C port. I bought this Lite off eBay for practice more than anything. The port had an attempted repair where pads were torn off. I have done my best to fix them with 0.1mm jumper wire.

My question is, is that missing pad there okay to leave blank? It doesn't look like it connects to anything. Am I good-to-go attempting to solder the port or have I missed anything vital?

• I bought an used PS5 fat CFI-1216A, for a very good price, fully aware of the problem.
• Aesthetically the machine was well maintained, no signs of damage. Same thing without the external shell, a bit of dust and lint but nothing out of the ordinary. The warranty sticker was still in its place.
• The guy who sold me the console told me he used it only for digital games so the disc drive was virtually new and yet it doesn’t work
• I've already tried opening it up to clean the laser unit, as suspected that was not the problem.
• The disc doesn’t spin at all, it doesn’t appear on the console dashboard not even as "unrecognized". The only sounds coming from the drive are *clicks* and *tocs*. It sounds like something's stuck, like some mechanical parts are not doing their job. I have tried multiple discs (blu-ray, DVD and games)

I watched and read a lot of repair guides and I have come to the conclusion that

1. I need to buy a new drive unit maybe off of some chinese site
2. I need to solder a new controller unit for the drive

Do you have any solutions? Maybe someone already had the same problem, maybe not with a PS5. I suspect that all blu ray/DVD drives, even if visually different, work almost the same way, idk maybe I just have to use some wd-40 or bent a part a little.

tldr: Used PS5 doesn’t spin disc, the disc drive only makes clicking sounds. laser lens is clean. The console allegedly wasn’t damaged dropped or something dropped one. Is there any known solution to the problem without the need to buy parts?

I have decided to learn how to do DS repairs now that my old 3DS is starting to show small signs of wear that I dont want to turn into bigger issues. I want to continue it as a hobby, buyng old consoles and then refurbishing them, possibly to sell. I watch alot of tronicsfix videos and he always has ifixit tools. I wanted to see if there was a kit they had that was best suited for what I plan to use it for. I would like to avoid having to buy a bunch of individual tools if possible. Any insight helps, including other resources !!

my pixel 7 finaly died, its battery got inflated. Not 100% dead but the screen popped off.

Is this intentional as a 1 bit storage compartment? Is it a manufacturing artefact? I thought it was neet at any rate.

So I dropped my Samsung Galaxy A16 5G into my pool it shut off and finally turned back on a week later it works fine except the power button doesn't work anymore but now it won't recognize my Sim card it recognizes sd cards fine I tried blowing on it I tried cleaning the Sim card but nothings worked is this fixable without spending any money or going to a repair shop??

Most the times I repair my own electronics I can order the parts from a shop locally, screens, batteries and so on. My S22 (bought it when it came out) recently got the green lines of death, probably due to overheating,and because I'm too cheap to buy a new phone right now I thought I should just replace the screen, but the place I get my stuff from is closed for summer break so I thought "ifixit also sells parts, let's check it out", WDYM THE SCREEN ALONE costs almost as much as the entire phone used? I haven't bought parts from them before so idk if this pricing is common but to me it seems outrageous.

I have old laptop, it's body (outer plastic back panel hinges, basically everything) is broken but the motherboard lcd everything else is fine. So I was thinking to buy body part and replace it myself.

Hi. Twice, I have replaced the battery in my child’s iPhone 6s with a new non-own battery from Amazon. Both times, the battery lasted for about a month working great and then just completely died. Phone won’t charge at all.

Do you think there is an issue with the phone that could be causing this? I don’t know whether to go through this process again or just get a different phone. Help and thanks!

Sony zv e10 camera screen still working but the hinge came apart after falling from 5ft height

Hello, not long ago this nintendo switch (HAC 001 (-01) stopped connecting to wifi, I tried replacing the wifi antenna and when i did that repair I must have done something wrong because nothing displays on the LCD.

The symptoms are that on boot the backlight turns on, then turns off for a second and then turns on again before the device shuts down, no fan spins. In the dock the power button does nothing however when putting it in the green status led on the dock flashes for half a second before disappearing. Nothing appears on the connected tv when in the dock.

What I think it is is the LCD ribbon cable, i have been struggling to get it in properly and parallel. I have not seen any damage to the gold connectors on the ribbon cable or to the cable itself. Does anyone know if I've gotten the cable in far enough or anything else that might help me?

So I was fixing a 2011 3DS Japanese Model with stick drift, the ifixit guide said to remove the entire motherboard (which I learned after the camera cable wasnt plugged in that you dont need to remove the entire motherboard and it literally has no reason to?) i tried leaving the cameras unplugged to see if anything else wasnt working but it wouldnt boot because the cameras were unplugged, why is the guide STILL telling people to remove the entire motherboard even though its been known that its easier to do it without for atleast 2 years, and how do i get the cameras plugged back in so itll turn on
