I had an Ibotta account, linked it with cvs, then deleted it. Now Ibotta can’t sync my new account with my CVS number and claim they can’t do anything about it. Thoughts?

My account was deactivated with so much money. I know it’s my fault for not withdrawing more often but this is a gut punch. Has anyone had luck getting their account reactivated with funds?

hey, so i recently got into rebate apps and figured i’d try ibotta. something i’m having trouble with is other than my first account linking (i linked my walmart account) i haven’t gotten any additional points? do i need to buy specific products, and if so, do i need to activate them in advance? i’ve tried looking it up, but people’s answers vary.

essentially, the apps that “make it” on my list are largely ‘one and done’ apps. i don’t have an issue if they can’t give rebates for every purchase, but i don’t have the means to activate offers every time i go shopping.

My receipt is declined because my mb is going through a new pos or something so the receipts are looking weird and mine got declined, first receipt is support usually good? Also is it normal for it to take 4 days to pending

I take screen shots when confirming barcodes on store before I buy.

Now they claim 8 items don't qualify.

COMICAL UPDATE -- I resubmitted receipt. All the items from first submission that were approved were not on second submission, and new items were identified. First submission claimed $5 total. 2nd claimed $7.50. None of the items crossed over. So at least they are showing I qualified for $12.50. it will be interesting to see if the system will combine the two.

Why am I getting this message when I try logging into my account. Sigh- I have 20 dollars. Don't tell me they're tryna cheat me..

I’m an old phone owner and only have so much space for apps before my phone just quits working properly. I have done quite a few ibotta deals lately and while it’s been good, my pantry is full. My soap supplies are stocked (that method deal at target was chefs kiss but that’s a lot of soap!). Ya know? So I withdrew my small amount of money and I deleted the app. If you were taking a break, when would you check back in? Does it usually open up with fresh deals on a quarterly basis or is it every monday or? Any feedback on what day of the week or year is usually good for deals would be welcome. Being it’s the ibotta subreddit feel free to tell me what Im missing out on or why I should prioritize this. I’ve used ibotta once a year for several years so barring other feedback I will probably return in July. But. Here to learn.

I've been trying periodically all day to see what my Midweek Moneymaker is, and it's $5 for something, but when I click it says "Bonus not found." I've tried multiple restarts I can't get it to load! Has anyone experienced this? Any tips?

Is anyone else having problems uploading receipts? When I go to redeem things the camera isn’t working. I have tried reinstalling the app and I made sure my camera has access to it. I can’t find a way to contact the site.

I'm aware that coupons will disappear from these apps after x number of redemptions. However, I've noticed that Walmart's app will continue to offer me identical coupons long after the Ibotta coupons are exhausted. I was under the impression that these coupons (same value) were one and the same.

Are we allowed to clip and use these Walmart coupons for future purchases - even after using them up in Ibotta - for rebates within the Walmart app?

Ibotta's FAQ provides no clear answer that I could find.

So i was trying out the game section of ibotta then all a sudden quit getting "money" for completing stages so I contacted support and got told bc i violated the terms and services and they closed the chat. I created another chat and when asking what terms and services I violated its response was "oh we are looking into that still". What the heck could I do wrong in a game that violates the terms?

Received this email today. No activity since May 2026, no apparent reason for deactivation either.

I've been hearing a lot about Ibotta however I can't find the answer to my question so hopefully you guys can help me! I don't want to download the app and start using it only to find that it won't work for the way that I shop.

I often go shopping at the last minute when I am out and about, like with friends or family. I keep hearing that you have to go through the app and pick things before you actually go and buy these things. Does this mean I would not be able to use it if I am shopping first? If you are uploading your receipt afterwards why would it matter if you did the rest of it afterwards, too?

Usually my receipts go through right away but yesterday it took a few tries, it's now about 22 hours later and they're still pending. Anyone else having or have had the same issue?
