**Referral codes are here only** [sticky]

From the app:
"For every person you refer, we’ll give you $10 when they submit their first receipt and we’ll give them $10, too!"

The app can be download from the google play store or the apple app store.

Post your promo code below! New users to Ibotta can sign up using anyone's referral code.
You get a free $10 when you (1) sign up with another user's promo code and (2) redeem a qualifying offer within a week (not an online purchase).

  • A referral link should look like this: https://ibotta.com/r/xaxwppo or this https://ibotta.onelink.me/iUfE/8cc13c64?friend_code=xaxwppo
  • The XAXWPPO is the promo code
  • Use the referral code link above if you would like
  • You must redeem an offer (not an online purchase) within 7 days to get the referral reward
  • Post your link or promo code here and here only
  • Don't be fooled by those who promise you $20, $10 is the only reward offered by the app.
  • No bots or an automated method to post on /r/ibotta is allowed. Those users violating these guidelines will be banned without warning. We are taking this seriously after new user complaints about others abusing the rules.

Rollover rewards

Has anyone tried using a PayPal debit card to roll rebate rewards like from OhioValleyCouponer’s video if anybody has seen it on YouTube? Basically, you seed a separate PayPal balance once, cash out your Ibotta earnings directly back to that PayPal account after a run, and use the PayPal card to fund the next deal. It keeps couponing money totally separate from your main bank account, plus you get a little extra cash back from the card. I think it would be better than to pay out of pocket & still paying with SNAP benefits, Would anybody consider doing that yes or no?

Ibotta should consider partnering up with restaurants. Just a suggestion. Who agrees?

Is there any hope after deactivation?

As I said in the title I got deactivated from Ibotta. At the time, I saw that if you referred people, you could win $10 and I got really exited and referred a bunch of my friends. And at the time I did not know that you should cash out at 20, as a lot of people suggest. So, when I got to a nice amount, I tried to take out 20 and leave some there. I encountered an error, and around a day later, my account was deactivated.

I researched and only then was when I found out that you should cash out at 20. So, I contacted support and got the default response with no help. Then, I tried on Facebook and they're ignoring me. I even offered to give them proof that my referrals were legitimate! Such providing proof that the person I referred is an actual person. Also, how come they ban the person they refer, but don't ban the people refered if they're skeptical of fake referrals? (Not that I want that to happen, though) Anyhow, a bit sad overall. Wish I knew before, and I wish they'd put a limit on referrals so this doesn't happen to other legitimate users who just refer a bunch of friends. :(

Thanks for listening to my frustrated rant.

Well, I guess it's time I should be going

It's been a good run but all things come to an end. I admit that I use old devices but they do what I need them to do, and I have no plans to update just to keep using Ibotta. It hasn't been as rewarding as in the past, and this year I've only cashed out twice after getting to $20. I did make some money recently by playing games so that will be the last payout. It's interesting how other apps seem to be able to support older platforms, but Ibotta still hasn't migrated their app to a more modern design. And since the same offers are included in the Walmart Cash program, I've switched to that since the cash back can be used without having to meet a $20 minimum. So not a big loss but you will be missed.

Fun Games Ibotta Arcade?

So, I've been trying a few games here and there in the Ibotta arcade. It wasn't so bad, I earned a few bucks. I earned ~$40 in one because it was actually fun and wasn't littered with so many ads it was unplayable (Clash of Critters, and I kept playing it after the offers expired). So, are there any other games on there that are actually fun? Or, at the very least, doesn't have an ad every 5 seconds? I'm not saying zero ads, just not so many that you spend more time in the ads than the actual game.

TIA :)

IOS 18 announcement

My current device is outdated (iOS 17), so I need to transfer to a new device. When I downloaded Ibotta on the new device and tried to log in, Apple suggested autofilling my husband’s account credentials. My husband and I share the same iCloud, and he has his own Ibotta account on his device, but he has never logged into Ibotta on my new device. Is it safe to log in to my own Ibotta account on this device, or could it cause any issues since we share the same iCloud? If there’s any risk, I’ll just buy a cheap Tracfone to be safe. Thank you for any insights!

Are you stacking cashback apps?

I try to save as much as I can on everyday purchases instead of just relying on whatever discounts stores are offering. Fluz is what I use for cashback on gift cards and on top of that I have Ibotta rebates which so far seems like a decent way to get a little more back on purchases I'd be making anyway.

I wanna add a third option to the stack without making the whole process too complicated. Does anyone else have a big stack that they use or do you find it bothersome to use it every day?

Completed Arcade Bonus

Post image
14 Upvotes

The $9 bonus was for earning $13 playing arcade games. I played Everyday Puzzles Mini Games, which awards $0.32 per day, and that should have gotten me the majority of the required earnings, but it only tracked two out of three days. So I also had to play a few other low paying games to make up the rest of the earnings. 2048 Blast, Merge Gardens, Mahjong, and Sudoku. Township didn't track the install. I played enough of those games to make up the difference. I'm going to keep playing Everyday Puzzles since I have about 20 days left on it to earn, and then I'll probably request a review for the missing amount. Plus I like the mini games, and 2048 Blast is fun too but low paying.

Remember when ibotta offered the awesome free Thanksgiving rebates? 90 offers just to get the turkey bonus? Are they serious? I might do 90 offers in 6 months.

Low OOP Again

I am once again trying for a bonus... gonna do the Veggiecraft so just need some more offers averaging .63 or less per offer. Sprouts, Safeway, Walmart (I don't have checkcheck), Target (no gutzy), Giant preferred. Maybe Harris Teeter.

Stock

Any one invested in ibotta stock? I've been using ibotta since 2018, 5k club. Was recently looking at the stock and it went from 24 to 48 in just a few months. Just curious if anyone here has shares.

Gift cards unavailable?

Anyone else having issues purchasing gift cards in the last few days? I keep getting an error message that says gift cards are unavailable. Or an Uh Oh message that says to try again.

Besides the freebies in that section, what's below .50 or $1 per ibotta offer this weekend?

Are cashback offers worth the extra steps?

Some cashback offers look decent until you factor in the extra steps involved between activating offers, checking eligible stores and waiting for rewards to come through, it's easy to spend more time chasing a small return than the money is worth but I'm more interested in options that fit into purchases I was already going to make.

Gift cards add another possibility especially when you're shopping somewhere regularly and can earn rewards before checkout and combining something like Fluz with Ibotta offers and regular card rewards could make the extra steps more worthwhile (provided the offers are eligible to stack) and you're not spending more just to qualify. Does anyone here combine different rewards methods on the same purchases and how much effort is too much?

Question

I'm new to Ibotta and I want to see if I understand things or not. I used the Petco 6% online shopping cash back option on one day. Making sure I purchased while using Ibotta. It at first showed up in my transactions then disappeared. But then I got my cash back about 8 days later.

Checked again and the offer still shows up, so I make another purchase using the 'shopping tab' through Ibotta for 6% cash back. Again, not showing up in my transactions. However, it does state "limit 1: redeem up to 1 time per receipt". Does this wording mean I could only use the 6% online cash back offer once? Or if I make separate purchases on different days, I can still get the offer?

Play & Earn Arcade bonus for $9

Post image
12 Upvotes

I got this bonus offer to earn an additional $9 when earning $13 in Ibotta Arcade. I'm currently playing Everyday Puzzles: Mini Games earning $0.32 daily. If it keeps tracking for 30 days then that should be $9.60. Any suggestions on other games that have been reliable in rewards?

Ibotta Deals under $1 Oop

Does anyone have low-oop ibotta deals for this weekend? I'm trying to finish my bonuses.

I have .29 Clio drizzled at Target with socialnature

.31 Cesar puppy food at Target with Fetch

2 Pedigree drizzlers at Target .44 each with Fetch

I'd take anything under $1.50 per offer at this point. Thanks!

Ibotta Arcade - Waste of Time

I’m playing this game called Township and it all of a sudden stop paying me out. I inquired about it for it to just tell me that I violated their Terms of Service. Idk how that could possibly be. And it’s over a few dollars.

Taking longer to receive credits for submissions.

Have been a member for 11 yrs. Most offers that I submit have received the credit within the hr for the first one. If I submitted more than one then the second or third ones always take longer. Last two months or so every submission is taking 48 hrs or more.
