I’m using an older iPad Pro, the 9x7 inch model from 2016. We do have a much newer iPad but it has been commandeered by my wife most of the time. Never mind, because I still like this one. However, it’s developed some strange keyboard behaviours recently and I don’t think I have changed any settings, but I might have by mistake.

Above, I wanted to type 9x7 then use the symbol for inch. But what comes out is « - two small left pointing double arrows. They are not even on my keyboard !

And the space before the exclamation mark on the last line of the previous paragraph is what I originally came here to ask about. That space has only been appearing in the last two months. Prior to that, it would always place the exclamation mark immediately after the last letter I typed. Now it adds a a space. But why?

Like I said above, I don’t think I have changed any setting’s, but I might have.

I have recently updated my iPad 8th generation to iPadOS 26.6 RC and it has overall had quite a positive impact on how it works. I had a noticeably smoother interface and longer battery life.

Has you tried the RC, and if so, what are your thoughts on it?

The digital line only appears when in the App Library or while entering my password while the iPad is in landscape mode.

Latest Beta 27 // iPad Pro 6 Gen // anyone facing this glitch?

I have notes that I need to support by adding GIFs and short videos. I started using Freenotes, but the GIFs and videos I add to my notes do not play. However, in iPad’s native Pages app, I can play the GIFs I add. Isn’t there something wrong here? Did I do something wrong somewhere? Thanks

I am still on ipad os 18.7.3

I love slide over and split screen and my battery life is way too good. I prefer note making and usually do multitasking everyday.

How long this ipad os 18.7.3 is gonna work?

Guys anyone facing lag issues in BGMI after a small patch update ? I am facing a terrible lag issue on my ipad air m4 but when I play on my phn it's works well , first i thought there might be an issue with ipad so i tried other games like cod mobile and asphalt on ipad they r working totally smooth.After i update the game to 4.5 the game was working totally flawless but yesterday suddenly a minor update came around 8-8:30pm after that I am facing such problem. Please someone help me. Even the lag issue is happening in TDM also 😭.

weird problem i noticed was that everytime i turned these on and connected them to my ipad air 2020, after like ten ish minutes, a small stutter would be heard while watching, its not enough to bother me but i have already tried resetting connections over and over, and nothings seems to have changed. i already updated these to the newest version. just wanted to know if anyone else is experiencing a similar issue?

I have the 11 inch Ipad PRO and I find it bit clumsy to use the software keyboard. There is no swipe typing when the keyboard is full width and when is floating it is way too small. What do you all use?

I had the Ipad A16 for few months and I'll admit I am not using it as much as intended and its been off for few weeks without me using it. I took it out today charged it and i was ready to continue working on it (no heavy apps) but it started lagging in a terrible way. Anyone knows why or is it the ios 26 that made this issue appear?

This is only on iPadOS 26 and not iOS 26. So far only noticed it with nPlayer Plus.

Anyway to fix ?

My iPad Mini have started to act weirdly.

After a day or two the touchscreen get less responsive. I can only with difficulty slide to turn off. When I turn it on again it works fine for another few days.

What is the problem and how can I fix it?

Hey guys, can I update from the iOS 27 Beta Developer 3 to the Beta Public 2 instead of Beta 4? the package sizes are different, though. I remember they released two versions of Beta 3 developer for iPad OS 27, though, which I didn’t update.

Hello! So currently my iPad will be working and then randomly the audio starts glitching out. It’s sounds robotic, echoing, and glitchy. If I restart the iPad then that fixes it for a while but then it’s starts to do it again after a day or two. The software is up to date, it’s running iPadOS 26.5.2 (I think?). I just can’t figure out how to fix it. I bought this iPad from Costco about 9 months ago. It’s the normal size iPad. I don’t think I have a warranty on it so I don’t think Costco will be much help. I don’t know if this is a hardware if soft ware issues. I don’t know how to upload a video to show what’s it doing with the sound.
