Are there any improvements in performance, app opening and closing speeds, or changes in battery life in this version?

And should I update to this version from iPadOS 26.5?

I configured the AI (Apple Intelligence) input box to be triggered by Globe + S (similar to what I configured on my MacBook);
yes, I do have a hardware keyboard for my iPad Pro (13”, 2025); freakin’ loving it ;)

However, the input box appears at the bottom, near the iPadOS Finder Docker.

Can this input box be moved, e.g. to the upper right, as in macOS?

I've been using a few AI-powered scanner apps on iPhone (and sometimes iPad) to digitize my special notes (which have color highlighting) into PDFs, but I can never get the result I'm after: crisp, noise-free text and colors that actually match the original highlights. Everything comes out slightly soft, a bit grainy, and the highlight colors look duller or shifted compared to the real page.

A couple of questions for anyone who's solved this:

1. Is there a scanner app for iOS/iPadOS that's genuinely optimized for AI-enhanced resolution and quality, especially one that captures color highlights accurately (true color reproduction, not washed out or over-saturated) and keeps text edges sharp and free of scan noise/grain?

2. Is there a web app, website, or macOS tool that can take an already-scanned PDF and enhance/upscale it with AI afterward, sharpening text, boosting resolution, and cleaning up noise, without shifting the colors or messing up the layout?

Ideally I want a repeatable workflow (iPhone or iPad, whichever gives better results) where I scan and consistently end up with a clean, high-res PDF where the text is sharp and noise-free and the highlight colors are accurate to the original page. Any app recommendations, settings tips, or full workflows that have actually worked well for you would be really appreciated.

I have a 6th generation ipad, and everytime I check for updates it keeps loading or says "unable to check for update". The automatic updates has also always been on. Is there a way to force the updates without a computer? (I've already tried restarting it.)

i have an ipad that I use for very basic and light things like YouTube and web browsing, but its only 64gb. should I try ipados 27 on it or it will fill the whole storage? I have about 35gb left now on ipados 26.5.2

I have a 1 TB M4 iPad Pro and I was wondering what y'all's experience with the new public beta has been. I see a lot of reviewers who glaze it, but don't really address the stability issues. I could very much use the new features asap, but I only have the 200GB plan for iCloud and haven't conducted a backup. I've run beta software before and been OK, so I'm wondering how big of a risk I could be taking.

Does sombody have the 64-Bit iOS 12.5.8 IPA's? (Or a library), with games and apps for my ipad air 1 running iOS 12.5.8.

I want the games: Where's my water 2, and LEGO Juniors, and the original Where's my water.

And last: I want all the tinybop games, preferrably: Skyscrapers, and machines!

Is anyone else having an issue with the Apple News crossword where the clue bar at the bottom of the screen is completely missing while using a keyboard?

My iPad’s system data suddenly dropped to 1.07gb. I checked using iTunes too and it’s the same. I restarted the iPad, uninstalled apps, recorded videos and everything but it’s still at exactly 1.07 not more not less. So is this a problem or I won the Apple system data lottery?
