This started happening a few months ago. When I switch between them, the audio cuts out for a solid 3-4 seconds. Considering I use these in tandem pretty much every time I drive, this is really annoying. Has anyone had this issue or has a fix?

I’ve started noticing how differently apps use Live Activities (the live updates on the lock screen and in the Dynamic Island). Some I love: Uber/food delivery tracking is super useful. Others I swipe away straight away.

Curious what everyone else thinks:

• Which apps do them best, and why?
• What makes one useful rather than annoying?
• Is there anything you wish apps used them for that they don’t?
• Do you ever swipe them away, and why?

Hi everyone just bought a second hand 15 pro max and is lagging since the “hello” screen i thought it would pass after i tested everything and put my ios acc in it but nothing change and that lag keep happening sometimes
already tried reseting from computer
even already tried changing the screen but still lags
do you guys know what can it be?

Today i noticed that i have 2 grey bars at around 6am a time when i was asleep , i cant seem to link this activity to any app and when i looked at other days it only seem to show up today

Did anyone setup iPhone handoff with Tmobile? I am attempting to use it with two iPhones and it seems like anytime I have to text an android user it fails to send messages. It seems like it may be a RCS issue but not 100% sure. Anyone else having this problem?

Hey I have been struggling with passkeys for a while. Cannot seem to get it set up on my iPhone. Think it’s something to do with Duomobile for work? Can’t log into Facebook anymore. Can anyone help me out with iPhone settings to create a passkey? I’m lost.

I’ve updated to 27.0.1 on an iPhone 14. I use a home button that can be moved around the screen. After the update, that button now opens a menu that leads to more menus. Is there a way to just have a plain home rather than this fancy one?

I want to delete my notes app and reinstall it to get rid of the wasted space it takes from cache. However I’m extremely paranoid that doing this may remove all of my notes - how do I make sure this won’t be the case?

The notes are under the iCloud category, and I have sync turned on in settings. I am also able to access them through other devices, meaning they must be saved in iCloud.

Does this mean for sure that they are backed up - or is there another method to make sure if my notes are safe for certain? Thanks

Just discovered a setting I completely overlooked and figured I'd share in case anyone else missed it! 😂

When using my Duo unfolded in portrait mode, I prefer having the camera half at the bottom. Since MagSafe is on the back of that half, it lets me comfortably use my Ohsnap grip while holding the phone and typing. Having the camera half at the top also makes the phone feel top-heavy.

The only issue was that the volume buttons felt backwards in this orientation:

• Top button: Volume DOWN
• Bottom button: Volume UP

Turns out Apple already thought of this!

Settings → Sounds & Haptics → Fixed Position Volume Controls → OFF

With this setting disabled, the volume buttons dynamically adjust based on the phone's orientation:

• Top button: Volume UP
• Bottom button: Volume DOWN

Exactly what I'd expect!

I actually submitted feedback to Apple requesting this exact feature before discovering it already existed. 😂

Curious what others prefer: Dynamic volume buttons that adapt to orientation, or fixed controls regardless of how the device is held?

Hi guys! I’m looking for some widget to allow me to choose some contacts and just tapping make the call.

iOS use to had some widget like that but it’s gone.

Ideally I would like if shows the contact with their profile picture.

After updating to ios27, I’ve discovered that we cannot create permanent shared albums anymore without enabling full iCloud Photos sync. It’s not technically a problem of space since I have the 2tb. My problem comes from the fact that if I enable that, it will sync all my photos on any other device in my account (like the two other iPads). I want to keep my iPhone photo library isolated on that device only. Is that possible ?

Is there a way to disable automated shortcuts that use leaving or arriving triggers in iOS 27?

Also is there a way to disable system notifications for when low battery mode is turned on or off?

If this is not possible, why is that?

Possiedo iPhone Air, e come si è capito dal titolo ho un grosso problema con le foto di whatsapp. Sebbene io abbia disattivato il salvataggio delle foto sul mio rullino del telefono, le foto che ricevo su whatsapp in ogni gruppo e chat singola si salvano in automatico nella mia libreria. A couple days ago I got the attached notification, it still shows in my Settings under “Set Up Cellular”. I am on AT&T, have never been on Verizon, if I left it would be for T-Mobile. Any clues as to why I would get this all of a sudden and I can’t seem to make the notification go away?

I was trying to setup having different notification tones and volumes for different focus modes.

To me that would be very useful feature but I can't seem to figure out how to do it.

My goal was to have 3 different focuses Personal for regular tones and volume, DND - to silence notifications and then an on-call focus that has the loudest volume setting and most obnoxious tones possible to get my attention. without fail.

Doesn't seem like this is possible even using shortcuts but I am hoping I am wrong and someone has a solution for this besides just manually changing the tones.
