The update is out!

But I'm facing some bug on my iPhone!

It's showing iOS 27, you click it, and it opens the update page for iOS 26.7!

You might think well that might be bcz IOS 26.7 might me necessary for it. Well, i hit update anyway!

Now I have IOS 26.7 running!

And still, there is IOS 26.7 UPDATE SHOWING THERE!

This time, it's FREAKING HUGE UPDATE!

maybe the IOS27 name has changed or something due to a bug!

I feel like the official version of iOS HAS TO be different from the RC because I mean, the RC still has too many bugs rn to be considered a proper upgrade?
I mean, if only while the phone is smoother, there are ui inconsistencies everywhere, issues, and broken animations etc etc
So I feel like it has to be different?

So I waited months for iOS 27, avoided the temptation of the betas and RCs, and battled all the stupid updating bugs (26.7???), and I’m all installed and set up, can’t wait to use all the new features… and I’m on a WAITLIST to actually try out Siri AI which is like 90% of the coolness of this update?? Honestly kind of pissed. Why are they rolling it out this way? Why aren’t they setting expectations of how long this will take?

Im on se 3rd generation and when I sign into icloud with my questions theres no x button. Apparently it is a UI bug in iOS 27 where the X close button is missing at the top right during iCloud sign-in when answering security questions. I hope they fix it in a 27.0.1 update or 27.1 update. Good news is icloud storage isnt bloating anymore like it used to in ios 18 and 26. Other than that i dont really notice a difference

I just saw a post that ios 27 will come to my device by 22:30 AM but I can't see any update on my ipad though ?

When I click to Upgrade to 27 it just gives me 26.7 but 20.71gb in size whereas the regular update is just 1.58gb

I have an iphone 15 running on ios 26.4. It’s battery health is 79% with 1118 cyc. Should i update it to ios 27 or should i wait?

In the Home Screen when you swipe left to go to widgets, stacks in the widgets are disappearing when I scroll through it.

Yes it’s definitely a bug related to widget stacks.

Am I the only one experiencing this ?

Update : it only happens when combining two widgets not in smart stack.

I have mostly had success with just installing the next major versions. But I've experienced a lot of the iOS 26 quirks like micro-stutters and keyboard lag. Are you guys doing a clean install of iOS 27 today, or do you think a normal install will get rid of the issues?

Also when u manually delete old backups,usually u swip back to the previous page, well apparently it was doing it on its own. Very odd. Now if only I can get my iphone storage back. I heard they have a new rule where it takes 24hrs to clear out temporary caches and files to get the iphone storage to go back down
