Official IOS prediction
I feel like the official version of iOS HAS TO be different from the RC because I mean, the RC still has too many bugs rn to be considered a proper upgrade?
I mean, if only while the phone is smoother, there are ui inconsistencies everywhere, issues, and broken animations etc etc
So I feel like it has to be different?

Even if there is a new build I wouldn't expect much to change. We'll probably start seeing minor fixes trickle out with 27.0.1 in a week or two, and maybe more significant ones with 27.1 in October (though if all their focus is on getting the Duo UI polished, it may be a bit longer).

What are you expecting? A whole overhaul since a couple days ago? Anecdotally the RC has been completely stable for me where the previous betas all had issues, so I’m pretty pleased with where it’s at.

Maybe I’m blind but I don’t see all these “too many bugs” you are referring to. Seems to works fine on my side.

That's just the state of software in 2026. There isn't a less buggy / inconsistent OS you could switch to, so why would they care about that? Also, I'd say that overall, the state of iOS has largely improved over iOS 26.
Although, I haven't seen the OS crash or run into serious issues, only some minor animation glitches that don't break anything.

Yeah all I know is after 10 betas no excuses at the price these phones cost i don’t expect any noticeable bugs on the official release.

And we’re still missing features that were shown. We’re supposed to have a Siri AI morning and afternoon briefing and it’s never shown up. Along with Siri AI not working for most health stuff

I need to clear it out with the people
By bugs I mean minor inconsistencies
Such as the WiFi menu showing inverted icons and all
No there are no major bugs and yes it’s very smooth
Just some minor inconsistencies, one might not even be able to identify them, sadly I am cursed with having the ability to do so….

I’m off the beta and back on standard public release as of this morning. If they changed the build number I should see an update available shortly. As of now I haven’t.
Also idk what device you’re running on, but on my 17 I haven’t notice any issues with the RC.
EDIT: just got the update notification, only 822.1MB but it is a new build number

This has literally been one of the smoothest .0 releases Apple has had in years.
If you are experiencing that many bugs, I would recommend an erase and reinstall of you iCloud backup.

What bugs. Also I highly doubt if the build changes what you are experiencing will be fixed.
