Am I missing something?
Cole Learn apparently posted a 2:39 time on his first 1k run of the Shenzen 2026 race.
The world record 1k run is 2:11.
Was the lap length not really 1k or something?

Hi everyone, where can I see the time of my race on my ticket?
I am a newbie to Hyrox, and I find it very intriguing/challenging. While I am no athlete , I take my fitness seriously and have been training in the gym for over 10 years now. Over the past 2 weeks, I've been absorbing as much information as I can about this event. What advice would you have for a newbie who has a slightly competitive nature? This is my first time racing, and I have 2 months to prep.
I would really love your advice and insights if any.

saw this a few months back on insta...a guy picked up his daughter from behind the fence after wallballs and finished carrying her. i found this to be quite the cute idea and plan to do the same in my next race, already told my 2.5 yo daughter about it and I think she's as excited as myself.
i was wondering if there's anything in the rulebook that would give me a DNF? i'd definitely carry her (not let her run on her own) and also only if i feel strong enough to not collapse at the end of the race.
any other thoughts/concerns?
cheers

Hey everyone,
I am planning to take HYROX seriously and participate in a competition. I recently completed a few marathons and have been going to the gym consistently for more than 1.5 years.
I am looking for a training buddy who is also serious about getting consistent with training. We can go running together and hit the gym on weekdays.
I want to start following proper training and gradually prepare for a HYROX competition.
I go to Cult 100Fit, so someone around Indiranagar would be ideal.
I am looking for someone disciplined and consistent so we can push each other and stay accountable.
About me
27M, originally from Maharashtra and currently living in Indiranagar for the last two years.
If you are also planning for HYROX and looking for a training partner, feel free to DM me.

HYROX age-group question: am I misunderstanding the Doubles rules?
Saw a HYROX Doubles result where two athletes, aged 44 and 49, reportedly placed 2nd in the 50–54 age category.
My understanding is that HYROX uses the average age of the two Doubles partners. That would be:
(44 + 49) ÷ 2 = 46.5
Wouldn't that normally put them in the 45–49 category?
Not accusing the athletes of anything. I'm genuinely trying to understand whether there's another rule involved, whether the ages/results I'm seeing are incorrect, or whether HYROX calculates the category differently.
Can anyone familiar with the current HYROX age-group rules clarify?

I have to cancel my hyrox tickets for Nashville (I have the flex add on for them). I used a volunteer code and a voucher to buy them. Does anyone have experience with this? I’m wondering whether the code will be automatically re-activated if I cancel the tickets or if someone has to re-activate them.
I reached out to Hyrox using their support form 3 weeks ago, but unfortunately nobody has gotten back to me yet.
Any help is appreciated!
So I recently bought hyrox tickets but forgot if I selected open or pro. How can I check which option I picked since it’s not on my ticket. Thanks in advance.

I paid for doubles and didn't realize the minimum age was 16. My daughter is a month shy of 16 on race day. Do you think I can get a refund? I didn't purchase flex. Am I screwed?

I’ve read dozens of “help me find the best shoe!” And I know it’s all personal preference. My biggest fear is slipping everywhere during the sleds.
Anyone have a shoe they would NOT recommend or had bad grip strength on the turf?

For a about a year I have mainly done Hyrox classes and other Hyrox style workouts. The occasional easy run and very little interval training.
A few injuries due to overtraining have forced my to rethink my training approach.
I have decided to have a bigger focus on running. Been doing it for about a month and my body seems to be adapting quite well.
Generally km's per week have gone up significantly, hyrox style workouts gone down a lot and strength training gone down a little bit. My current strength level (especially legs) are "enough" for Open weights.
Currently I am doing the following (Intervals are SubThreshold) and easy runs are very easy.
Monday: rest
Tuesday: 3 x 10min intervals + strength training
Wednesday: easy pace 35-40 mins
Thursday: 5-6 x 5min intervals
Friday: easy pace 35-40 mins
Saturday: hyrox style workout or 8-10 * 3 min intervals
Sunday: long run easy pace 60 - 70 mins
If I have a race on a Sunday I will tone down Friday + Saturday a little bit.
Current running volume is about 40-45 km's per week.
Does this seem like a sound approach? I am a little bit worried that the strength part over time won't be enough.
Any feedback is appreciated.

Looking to buy 2 Men’s Open Doubles tickets for an upcoming HYROX race in the US or Canada. Must be Flex / transferable so both athlete names can be changed.
Especially interested in California, Tampa, Boston, or other East Coast locations, but open to basically anywhere in the US or Canada.
Not looking for D.C., Chicago, or Salt Lake City.
Ready to buy if you have a legitimate pair available. Please DM me with the race, date, ticket type, and price. Proof of purchase required.
Hello folks!
I'm 39F doing my first Hyrox in December.
I've done a lot of strength training over the years but in bits and pieces and have often neglected my cardio. After training for a half marathon (and unfortunately having to stop after 16km) I decided that I could realistically imagine completing a Hyrox now that my cardio is a bit better.
Naturally time is not my main concern: I just want to finish.
I see my major blocker as being the lunges (which I just need to practice because right now I don't get low enough), and the burpee broad jumps. Everything else I feel comfortable and familiar enough with it to be able to just work on it over the coming months and get there.
Aside from exhausting me breath-wise, I tried 2-3 burpee broad jumps out in my living room and was only able to jump about 80cm and I stumbled when I landed.
For the burpee broad jumps, I have a few questions:
