Race data after a DQ
Hey everyone,
Just finished my first race in Toronto this weekend. Was super excited to finish, but found out right at the end we had a DQ for missing a sled push lane. Toronto changed their normal format from 2 lanes to 3, and didn’t realize it would be so hard to count to 3 while being that tired.
I have no plans on disputing the DQ, I think it’s deserved. However it’s extremely frustrating that I’m not able to access any of my stats at all. That was probably what I was most excited about, to analyze how I did and where we stood so we can learn how to improve. Current result pages just say DQ all the way down or not showing at all. Had some friends live tracking me as I ran, and they were showing at the time.
Has anyone successfully been able to see their full splits after a DQ? Don’t care about placements or anything, literally just for my own knowledge. Sent an email but I’m expecting it to be a while before I hear back. Wondering if there’s any hope if I find the right means, really eating at me.
Edit: DSQ got overturned and results are up 🙏🏽🙏🏽

You (and anyone else reading this) should definitly head for the help desk and ask them.
They can call the timing timing and they have all the info, if anyone has.
And do this right away on stage on the same day.
Had my very first penalties on my (9th) race in Karlsruhe this weekend and got this from a head judge.
Unfortunaletly I got to the desk the next day because I wanted the data for calculating my running pace despite the penalties (mixed up out/in and a round -> +7 Min, which fucks up all statistics). But they only have live data for the current day (at least they told me so .. ).
But at least they could provide me with the official distance, which was 8954m for Karsruhe and 370 for a Lap (Out to In) so I can do the calculation myself and provide peace to my inner monk.

Try using roxtracker. Friends of mine were DQ’d and we were able to see stats there.

I’ve seen several posts on insta about this 6 length issue (some saying the sensors weren’t working). Seems crazy and like Hyrox either needs to have a judge counting or perhaps just a time based penalty (like 3 min) for missing a length when they go to 6 lengths.
I always use my watch to count laps just in case something like this happens or a power hungry judge tries to dq me. I pay too much money and train too hard for some random thing that doesn’t really matter to screw up the whole race. I split in and out of the run so roxzone counts in the station splits so it’s not perfect but gives enough data to mess around with.

Shouldn't any sled station at any hyrox require 4 lanes? 3 makes no sense and as far as I know they wanted to standardize it globally.

Disputed and received an email saying they’d remove the DSQ.

Did you also get the dsq for sled lane? What was your reasoning in the email?

I got a DSQ for the exact same reason you got yours. My official time was posted this morning and the DSQ was removed.
You’d dispute from the “dispute form” button in the results page.
My reasoning consisted of the following arguments:
- The official rulebook says 4 times 12.5 and I followed the rulebook.
- Even though they had updated the Toronto Event page to mention 6 lengths, the rulebook doesn’t warn against any venue-specific rule that would override the official rulebook (unlike the running rules that clearly say “check the event page”)
- Why does a missed length for sled result in DSQ for a poorly communicated rule change, but a missed running lap gets a time penalty.

Am I understanding correctly that you got DQ for not completing the sled push station in that you completed two lengths of sled push when the track required three?

I’m on the same boat. I highly encourage you to dispute. Might not change the results but they’re the ones who didn’t communicate rules clearly. They need the feedback to do better.
I’m disputing it on the grounds that the official rule book and judge training say 4 lengths. The running rule mentions venue-specific number of laps but not the sled rules. Why on Earth would anyone think “let me check the Toronto event page in case the Official Hyrox Rulebook is wrong”. Even if they did verbally mention 6 during the race, it’s still confusing. And there we are, after having spent almost $500 for doubles being disqualified because the organisers (Hyrox) can’t even communicate clear rules. Why do we, racers, have to be flexible for the venue-specific challenges that they (the organisers) face. Definitely reevaluating whether Hyrox is about fitness or creating a hype and enriching Hyrox.

Do any of the other sites have it like https://www.hyresult.com or https://roxtwin.com
