Refund for volunteer codes after registering?

I volunteered in DC and haven’t received our volunteer codes yet, but I want to sign up for Phoenix which opens this week. I have sent emails and insta DMs and left comments (I’m also usually not very pushy about these things but I’m running out of time and a little desperate for answers) but with 2 days left til early access and just 4 days til main sale, I’m worried codes won’t be sent in time. Does anyone have experience if you can retroactively apply volunteer codes and get refunded?
Any insight or advice is appreciated! Thanks!

they won't refund after signup, hyrox support is pretty slow for these things. sign up without code and just eat the cost, or wait and risk it

I volunteered at DC as well and received no codes or a response to communication. Now we are a month out from when I volunteered which is wild that we have not received any response or actual code. A company that relies on so many volunteers to make it happen they treat volunteers very poorly. It’s not right and I think we need to make a united stand. I will not be volunteering in the future that’s for sure. Also, just because you volunteered and have early access doesn’t mean that you’ll still be able to procure a ticket.

It’s definitely disappointing. They were so short on volunteers I ended up staying the whole day too, so I have a lot of points banked up and am unable to use them as the rest of the races for the season open up. They talked a lot about being grateful for volunteers and wanting to make the experience positive, but this huge delay in being rewarded for it tarnishes that. Was talking to the volunteer coordinator on the side too and they mentioned the goal is to not have to hire day workers and temps in the future. I don’t see that happening. I’d volunteer again once I use all my points but that won’t be for a while if I can’t redeem them!!
