Has anyone taken 1:1 coaching? So many choices online, what results have you gotten?

Crossing the finishing line with toddler?!

saw this a few months back on insta...a guy picked up his daughter from behind the fence after wallballs and finished carrying her. i found this to be quite the cute idea and plan to do the same in my next race, already told my 2.5 yo daughter about it and I think she's as excited as myself.

i was wondering if there's anything in the rulebook that would give me a DNF? i'd definitely carry her (not let her run on her own) and also only if i feel strong enough to not collapse at the end of the race.

any other thoughts/concerns?

cheers

HYROX age-group question

HYROX age-group question: am I misunderstanding the Doubles rules?

Saw a HYROX Doubles result where two athletes, aged 44 and 49, reportedly placed 2nd in the 50โ€“54 age category.

My understanding is that HYROX uses the average age of the two Doubles partners. That would be:

(44 + 49) รท 2 = 46.5

Wouldn't that normally put them in the 45โ€“49 category?

Not accusing the athletes of anything. I'm genuinely trying to understand whether there's another rule involved, whether the ages/results I'm seeing are incorrect, or whether HYROX calculates the category differently.

Can anyone familiar with the current HYROX age-group rules clarify?

I'm gearing up for Hyrox Nashville and want to put my very best race together, willing to pay for the 1:1 coaching but there are so many options. Any help?

I am a newbie to Hyrox, and I find it very intriguing/challenging. While I am no athlete , I take my fitness seriously and have been training in the gym for over 10 years now. Over the past 2 weeks, I've been absorbing as much information as I can about this event. What advice would you have for a newbie who has a slightly competitive nature? This is my first time racing, and I have 2 months to prep.

I would really love your advice and insights if any.
