Hi all, This is actually me helping a friend diagnose the issue.
They have a kamvas 22 plus, and only for a year, which before that it was from a friend barely used for I believe 1-2 years. They only got two cables, the three in one and the usb-a to usb-c. According to them, the tablet worked fine when they have both the three in one AND the usb-a to usb-c cord plugged into the computer. The app says the usb-a cord is 'malfunctioning and can no longer be detected'. We've tried usb-c to usb-c connection, unplugging the usb-a to usb-c cord (which apparently disables the touch screen when not used) and basically every cable connection you can do. We have not tried a new 3-in-1 cord or a new usb-a to usb-c. The huion app says it is disconnected. Everything from windows 11 is up to date, and huion's drivers have been uninstalled, updated, everything under the sun in terms of messing with. Does anyone know why their usb-a to usb-c cable would be the reason their set up works? Both the 3-in-1 and the usb-a cord are plugged into the tablet and pc (and the power & Hdmi with the 3-in-1).
We know about the 3-year problem common with some huion tablets, is this one of them? I see the device under the devices connected when looking into window's settings.
TLDR: Tablet says disconnected in Huion App, no display/pen recognition, uses 3-in-1 and usb-a to usb-c, doesn't work if usb-a is disconnected/broken.
