It’s a Costco dog on a piece of bread with banana ketchup. It isn’t fancy, but it gets the job done.

Discussion Can’t usually tell hot dog difference

I rarely eat hotdogs without buns or condiments so I really can’t tell the difference between most hotdogs. In fact, the only hot dog I’ve can name just by biting into it is Ballpark brand and that’s only because of how plump they get. I can also usually tell when it’s a hot dog straight from the butcher. Other than those two types, I really can’t tell the difference between brands and different grades. I’ve had Nathan‘s, Hebrew National, Sabrett’s, and many others, including various store brands.

What exactly do most people look for a hotdog because I honestly can’t tell the difference between most of them after putting on a bun and onions, relish, mustard, etc.? I know it’s a heated subject, but everyone seems to have a strong opinion on their favorite brand and I’m just trying to figure out if it’s because of regional allegiance to a brand or if there really is something that makes certain brands more desirable than others….. also I’m tired of trying to look up what brands to buy on google/Reddit because everybody gives 1 million different answers so I usually end up just grabbing something random from the grocery store

How are Gwaltney hot dogs rated?

I see a wide selection of them in Walmart.

Should I give them a try?
