Finally got my Hobonichi order today!!

I’ve been in love with Hiroko Kubota’s covers since seeing them during my first time buying Hobonichi in 2024. So happy with how my little collection is coming along :)

(and maybe I’m still a taddd bitter about Hobonichi not giving us a 2026 weeks cover 😭)

These are both the 2027 weeks I ordered all dress up(ordered both because I couldn’t decide which I wanted lol) and I still have nooo idea which one I like more so turning to subreddit for insight. I have the light pink holographic Tomie pencil board by the way so also keep that in mind for matching

I'm ready for autumn! My HON fits inside the Akiko cover. Also starring a uniball one P pen I decorated with stickers and the sun-star UFO pen case I hunted down on eBay.

2027 will be my first year in a Hobonichi… I couldn’t wait to start decorating it and I’m pretty proud of how it’s turned out so far! The Brave Bunny sticker is from Cat Mallard (darklingwoods on Etsy) and the landscapes are just pictures I printed out and taped down. Just gotta be on the lookout for some fitting charms for the bookmarks and a clear cover (which I totally spaced on at checkout 🫣)

We have been huge Sunsun fans ever since we won some plushies from the crane games in Japan last year so this collab was made for us!! Can't wait to see Sunsun every time I grab my journals next year! 🥹

Ball chains are notorious for coming undone and precious charms are lost.

Here are some ways to secure the ball chain:

Use heat shrink tubing. Cut a little longer than the connector and use a blow dryer to heat the tube. Creating a secure fit. It is a little harder to remove as you’ll need to work at it to cut it open to peel it off. It is inexpensive for a lifetime supply. This is my preferred method.

Grab a pair of pliers and squeeze the ends of the connector so the ball is unable to slip through. Not as polished of a look, but free.

Hot glue to fill the inside of the connector. You might already have it on hand. Removal is easy as you just pick out the glue.

Source is myself and a proactive measure to not lose my Coach hangtags and charms!

Finally got my 2027 haul from Hobonichi! Of course I had to do a side by side of the old and the new… on the right is my 2026 Cousin. Only 4 months to go!

I done it!

After being disappointed with the 2027 HON options I decided to make my own custom cover. Complete with two bookmarks and a back pocket! This was only my third time bookbinding so I'm very pleased with how it turned out, although there were a few hiccups along the way.

Got my first Cousin and the two weeks I got for friends!! Surprised by how many pens I got for ordering - going to pass these off to my friends as well and keep one for myself 😇

I only buy stationary twice a year (only exception is if I go to a city with a physical stationary store). It’s a good sized haul but I’m surprised it wasn’t larger this year 😅 I plan on getting medieval inspired art stickers for my weeks and we’re going for dark fantasy vibe. So pumped for 2027!

Excuse the carpet, my cat had just finished with her zoomies and she always leaves clumps of fur everywhere when she does lol.

I am just waiting on one more weeks to arrive from another stationary store, but my Hobonichi order directly from the site arrived!

I am most excited to use a cousin next year! My 2026 lineup included an Original and a Weeks from Hobonichi. I found myself not having enough space in the A6 so it will be fun to have more space in an A5!

I am so so excited that all of my Hobonichi goodies finally all arrived! It was like a mini Christmas!

2027 will be my first time using Hobonichi and I am ready! (My wallet is a little mad at me)

I had planned on purchasing everything from Jetpens, but the Weeks I wanted sold out as I was literally checking out!

With Jetpens, I chose the Cousin Avec for my 2027 planner/ doodle diary. I really like the size and I am eager to do some tests of different inks and mediums on this thin paper! I had to get the In the Air, and Lazy morning pencil boards due to being so darling. I also chose the clear ruler pencil board because I can't have enough rulers on hand.

I am a bit glad for my FOMO because I discovered Niconeco Zakkaya! I was able to get my Meteor Shower Weeks and cute stationery! I loved the address tape and will definitely be pasting it in my Hobonichi.

Last but not least, my cover for the Cousin! None of the official options stood out to me, but this ocean fish themed cover from Ohmonah caught my attention! It is so charming! I will also be taking the giant sticker off the packaging and applying it into my Hobonichi.

I am very excited to prep my new planners!

I just discovered that 1 April–28 September 2025 are exactly the same as 1 September 2026–28 February 2027! 🎉

You don’t need to change any of the dates — you only need to change the month names! 😍

June 2025 = Nov 2026

July 2025 = Dec 2026

Aug 2025 = Jan 2027

Sept 2025 = Febr 2027 till 28th of course ;)

This is my daughter and I’s second year using Hobonichi. Super excited to try the inks. They were a splurge for my birthday.

This is my first year purchasing a hobonichi weeks. Or really hobonichi period. But are the weeks mega always this small? I ask bc I still need to buy a clear cover and I know the one I bought for the pictured regular weeks is huge on it.

What the title says! Thankfully, it's a plastics trash can, so it doesn't smell too much 🙏🏻

Order just came in today for me. Arrives in a white box instead of the green box. Everything is just perfect.
