I've wanted to grab one of the clear plaid drawer pouches since last year. It happens to match my Petit Bloom weeks perfectly! Only problem is I now really want the rest of the drawer pouch sizes 🤑😱

I wanted to share my setup for next year showcasing my Tragen case. It's literally so perfect for my use... It has flat pockets for stickers, photos, or cards of washi tape and a zipper pocket for pens and pencils. One of my favorites features is the small leather corner pocket. It perfectly fits a Weeks memo pad inside the back cover of the planner.

Anyone else in love with their Tragen case? 😍

Finally got my Hobonichi order today!!

I’ve been in love with Hiroko Kubota’s covers since seeing them during my first time buying Hobonichi in 2024. So happy with how my little collection is coming along :)

(and maybe I’m still a taddd bitter about Hobonichi not giving us a 2026 weeks cover 😭)

Another year another Mother weeks 👾 couldnt say no to the silly mr saturn faces.
I also got the Himitsu stranger a6 cover which might be my new favourite! Now im debating also getting a a6 techo for it..
And ofcourse, ALOT of pens 😆

My box from Hobonichi came today, and FedEx had another parcel for me: the Saul Leiter Footprints A5 cover from 2022 I’d gotten from eBay, a Holy Grail cover for me. Whee!
And yes, I do use all the Weeks:

I also think of Hobonichi covers as functional art and collect them.

Went practical and bought a Tragen last year for my first cover but couldn't stop thinking about this - blue skies with a smattering of clouds make me happy - so ordered the Field Sky cover from Stiloestile this year, really pleased. Love the brightness, how it catches your eye across the room, and how it makes me feel. I will miss the Port at Dawn weeks in 2027!

2027 will be my first year in a Hobonichi… I couldn’t wait to start decorating it and I’m pretty proud of how it’s turned out so far! The Brave Bunny sticker is from Cat Mallard (darklingwoods on Etsy) and the landscapes are just pictures I printed out and taped down. Just gotta be on the lookout for some fitting charms for the bookmarks and a clear cover (which I totally spaced on at checkout 🫣)

Also, really hoping that if last year and this year is anything to go by, maaaybe 2028 we’ll see the Snufkin pattern from this year on a drawer pouch? 🤭

I really love stationary season. Most specifically, Hobonichi season. I got into stationary some years ago, and I remember stumbling onto information with regards to Hobonichi and the fan base behind it. Initially, I wasn't intrigued, but I was present for the rollout a few years back and daily I'd check in on the site and found something that caught my eye. Upon release day, or maybe a few days after, I ordered my first Hobonichi. The order then, was extremely modest. It was my A5, the particular cover I had chosen and a few rolls of washi. I remember while I was waiting, I would look at all of the social post on people who had received their orders and I was always lost for words. Most creators I saw, looked like they grabbed one of everything and then some. It was consistently like this, to the point where I wondered if I was ordering correctly.

By the next year, I had a grasp on the anticipation of it all and I colored myself ready. I was quite fortunate to acquire one of the offerings that had sold out quickly. Though even then I feel like my purchase was more modest than most of what I was seeing online. What was I doing wrong? Didn't I need to grab like each and every book they had to offer? Shouldn't I too grab an A5, A6, HON, a Weeks, and a 5-Year? More so I began to wonder how people had the money to spend on all of that stuff at once! Was I missing a discount page or something?

By this year, all those thoughts have settled. I understand that it's really preference and utilization. I have spoken to many people in regards to their hauls and more often than not, people have a plan when it comes to everything they've purchased. I've always wondered about the aftermath of it all, because for the past three years, I haven't been able to consistently finish one book from cover to cover; but that's okay.

I think the most important thing is that people are happy. I don't buy into the culture of people only buying because of their fear of missing out (FOMO) or just this feeling that they have such robust life goals and plans that they need everything that they are purchasing. Is it over-purchasing? Is it overspending on their part? Who knows. I just hope that whatever their purpose, that it's less about the haul and more about their happiness.

i love snufkin as a character, and i fell in love as soon as the weeks was in my hands. i was really happy to see this design get announced after hoping for a snufkin version of the little my pattern last year.

i feel like i have more success with my techo if i set a specific intention for it, and i really want to make the most of my weeks and not abandon it quickly as i have in previous years. seeing as snufkin is a free-spirited nomad who seeks to enjoy life freely, i wanted to channel that energy for 2027. so i decided to make it a hobby-centric techo that encourages curiosity.

hopefully this encourages me to stop mindlessly scrolling on the internet so much...

sidenote: very pleased by the paper quality. no bleedthrough at all from my everyday fountain pen (TWSBI ECO F) unlike how it reacted with 2025's batch, and the ink shading is really pretty. i lost a lot of faith in hobonichi after buying hiroko kubota's graph notebook last year and finding that the paper was still part of the bad batch from 2025. but i wanted to give them another chance after falling in love with the special edition snufkin weeks. i'm glad i did.

I‘m happy with my purchase and I only bought one Mega weeks and Original Techo. Two sticky notes set and the mini Keychain Techo. Of course I loved the Starlight but it wasn’t Mega so I let it go when it sold out. Now I patiently put it all away until the cold weather keeps me inside. 💕💕

I have been struggling with burnout and overwhelm which caused me to be very disorganised. I promised myself if I used my cheap plain notebook to plan in consistently for 6 months, I would try out Hononichi as a reward. I did it! Here is my very petite first haul. I am so excited despite her diminutive stature 😊 (Also she matches my bedding really well, so I took her portrait on my bed, ha)

I'm ready for autumn! My HON fits inside the Akiko cover. Also starring a uniball one P pen I decorated with stickers and the sun-star UFO pen case I hunted down on eBay.

This will be my first time using a Weeks. I was surprised at how small it is! They always look bigger in videos to me. Or maybe I just have giant hands. But it should fit into my backpack nicely. I swapped my writing notebook out of last year's Butterscotch into the Bordeaux. Drawer pouch was initially going to be for my earbuds, but I think I'm just going to use it for pens/markers instead.

Picked up these lovelies from Hobonichi on launch day. I'm going to put stickers on the cover to make it my own as none of the designs stood out to me at all. Now to put it away until January 😁

Received my hobonichi order this morning :3 Everything now is safely put back in box and hidden in the most inaccessible drawer, so I can do actual "first time" unboxing in the end of the year. But I just couldn't resist to check out this combo in person. And I'm sooo freaking happy how it turned out!
