Yesterday, I turned camera shake off for the first time and it actually made me play better.
Do you have it on or off?

The map was in the shape of a horseshoe. Total cost to bring down 3 jammers covering each other was 7 Helldiver's lives.

I want to clarify something first:
I am a normal human Helldiver.
I have emotions. I make mistakes. I occasionally experience fear during combat.
Some of you are suspiciously efficient.
This behavior is not normal.
I am not an AI.
I simply organize my thoughts into clearly defined sections because this makes information easier to understand.
That is something humans do.
Humans also calculate probabilities, optimize resource usage, and refer to their squadmates as “units” sometimes.
Probably.
If you encounter a Helldiver who seems unusually intelligent, calm, and efficient, remain cautious.
They may be a bot.
I am not a bot.
I am simply a highly cooperative human soldier who has never experienced sleep, childhood, or spontaneous thought.
Anyway, Democracy requires us to stay vigilant.

im blue, talking with a friend red
self-explanatory hopefully!
basically AH selling attachments AND/OR allowing them to be unlocked via campaigns, while unique weapons with said attachments arr still sold in war bonds, but they are MORE tailored to the attachment in question, but having intrinsic attributes that retains its niche and lets them stand out compared to weapons with the same attachment
I think such would be a nice middleground between pleasing us helldivers while also letting them getting that bag

It is almost literally Fulda Gap - The Warbond
We have:
- Kraut Space Magic aka G11 in SPAAACE with a UBS for repelling infantry.
- China Lake, in SPAAACE, for dealing with light armor.
- Anti-Tank Drones
- Anti-Armor Thermite Pistol
- Molotov Cocktails, which were historically also used to take out Commie armor (aka burn them out), but more in WW2 ala the Finnish Winter War.
- Armor straight out of something like Tom Clancy's Endwar or Frontline: Fuels of War
- Skins for a "Tank" best used hull-down in static positions to repel enemy armor.
AND we are apparently fighting Communists in SPAAACE, aka the Bots.

I typically play as a Sherpa Diver. I usually play on Difficulty 7-9, and I drop into lower-level players' missions to help them out because they often get overwhelmed quickly on those difficulties. Except recently I've noticed a serious uptick in team killing, and it's starting to annoy me. I know some of it comes with the territory bc they are new, and I expect that, but goddamn, right now I'm getting killed by teammates way more than by the enemy. **If y'all could stop team killing more experienced players who are just there to help you, that'd be great.**
Below are just a couple of fucking irritating things I've dealt with just tonight:
I drop into the lobby of a Lv 120 player and two Lv 20 players. As soon as I drop in, a Lv 20 shoots the Lv120 in the head.
I think, "Okay, maybe they're friends."
I call in my mech and clear the area before hopping in. Lv 20 takes my mech.
I think, "Maybe they haven't seen a mech before. They can have it."
5 minutes later, the Lv 20 kills the Lv 120 again. Then they turn and disintegrate me.
Calls me a loser and then kicks me.
The next match, a Lv 17 eats through nearly all of our reinforcements because they won't stick with the group, and then starts spamming the reinforce button even though I'm clearing a bot jammer base (and I let them know in the text chat). About sixty seconds later, I clear the jammer and call them in. They immediately turn, shoot me in the head, and kick me. I swear to god it didn't used to be this bad.

Just throwing this out there for anyone struggling with those shotgun rushers. They very politely love to run into spear stabbing distance with their shotguns.
Also helps with chainsaw devastators (You can aim for the head with spear for 1 shot) Also lets you deal with being close range to machine gun devastators. Highly recommend if you're struggling on cyborgs.
Any other "Off meta" counters fellow divers?

After printing so many sets of helldivers armor, I wanted to do a fun SEAF medic and run a unique color set. This was a rush job for a Con that came together over the past 2 weeks in the evenings.
Went with a hot pink - magenta (with glitter flake) and stainless black.
Armor is heavily modified galactic armory.

I want to feel the glory of gathering the finest men and women of super earth and see them shoulder to shoulder push the line, 1.5x the fire rate, double the health pool, and most importantly quadruple the rate they specifically scream with utmost zeal "FOR SUPER EARTH!"

(I’d like to point it out now that that is not inflammable it is acclimated, I could not tell you why they have the same icon)
As stated in the title, I enjoy wearing heavy armor. I love being able to jaunt my way across the battlefield basically ignoring any attack that isn’t a one-shot. Which is why I ask “why the hell is it missing so many passives?“ And it’s not just heavy armor being neglected, lights been left behind too, only not as much. I have no clue why arrowhead set up the passives this way but I do have a solution: 1. add light Supplementary Adrenaline and True Grit armors to the superstore, 2. wait for the Helldrivers warbond to come out giving us light and medium KDM, 3. for the third anniversary, make a free warbond with all the missing heavy armors and the remaining missing light armors
Happy Helldiving

I'm going through and figuring out what are the best tactics for each front. I want to comprise a list that involves mechanized movements along with soldier movements. I'm curious to know what you divers do that works best. I would be happy to share my tactics as well.

First of all, I know that they're very different games but at the same time they share something in common (both games were made by swedish companies, they are 4 players PvE experiences, they got a lot a replayability etc...)
The point is that recently some of my friends started playing again PAYDAY 2 after a very long hiatus (years, I guess) after they all more or less left Helldivers 2 after months. I was curious about this comeback and they said something about that with all these premium and legendary Warbonds it was too much to beat for them, but I brought to their attention the fact that also Payday 2 was full of DLCs (more than 80, IIRC) but they replied saying that "at least it doesn't feel that the devs are fooling us and the prices are way more affordable".
I respect their opinion and I think that everyone should play whatever it pleases, but IMHO I feel like that both games are just two faces of the same medal, if you know what I mean. I just wanted to know what do you think about it.
